The sun was beaming down on Chinami, its warm glow a comfort to her. Her and her mother had talked briefly, things ranging from how she was getting along in highschool and such. It was nice to be able to talk to her after so long. And about such normal things too.

Unfortunately, not all good things can last. From above the two, the sky began to break, the pale blue turning into the same vast empty black space as before. Chinami watched wide eyed as the distant field faded into nothing, slowly approaching where her and her mother were sat.

"Looks like our times almost up." Her mother commented calmly, a solumn smile on her face.

"Already?" Chinami asked somberly. She really didn't want to have to say goodbye. Not again.

"Unfortunately so darling. You're needed on the outside." Her mother spoke, taking hold of Chinami's hand, giving it a light squeeze.

"What do you mean?"

"Think real hard. What was happening before you arrived here?"

Chinami paused for a second, trying her hardest to remember. They were at the USJ, just gotten off of the coach and info the building where 13 was waiting. Then...

"The villains!" She cried, eyes going wide with worry.

"My friends! They're all in danger!". Her voice carried through the open air.

"And that's exactly why you need to return and wake up. But don't worry, once this is all over, you won't have to be so alone. A good friend of mine will be there for you, I know it." Kind purple eyes gased into Chinami's amber ones, full of love and most importantly: hope.

"She's seen you around school, recognised you briefly. I'm certain that after today's incidents, she'll be more than happy to care for you." She explained, grip on Chinami's hand loosening.

She knew she didn't have much time left here. All around, the sky was breaking and the fields surrounding were fading at a rapid pace.

"I love you mom. So much." She sobbed softly. It was bittersweet, saying goodbye.

"I love you more than life itself." The two embraced eachother for the final time, tears streaming from the youngers eyes.

"Now go... You've got some fighting to do my little song bird."

Bakugou and Kirishima made their way across the different zones, the cries of battle getting closer as they moved. Chinami still layed asleep in the blondes arms, although at some point she had began to cry once more. It really was strange to witness.

The closer they got, the more they felt the atmosphere tense. Whatever was taking place by the main entrance was something dangerous for sure.

All of a sudden, a scream echoed through the building, a scream that belonged to no human. Whatever had let out that sound had to be something unworldly, something from nightmares themselves. As soon as his crimson eyes layed sight on the large, gruesome monster that was currently battling with the number one hero, Bakugou knew he had to do something. Anything. In a quick movement, he passed the girl in his arms to the horrified boy behind him, taking off with one large explosion right after.

It appeared it wasn't just him that had this idea, the half and half bastard landing with an icy blast beside him.

The two boys shot simultaneous attacks at the unearthly creature, it's gritting screech leaving its mangled mouth once again. Behind the two boys, the battered hero stood shocked. He couldn't deny that without the assistance of the two young boys he would have been dead. However, the disgusting monster wasn't done yet, it's bloodshot eyes zeroing in on the explosive blonde before it leaped forward into the air.
