Manik Pov :

I went inside the temple. My friends didn't ask anything because Ayush was already covered for me. I looked at the Lord Shiva idol and prayed for everyone's health, happiness, and prosperity. I don't need to pray for myself because he knows what I want.

We enjoyed the remaining day and left for Mumbai again. We have to get back to work tomorrow, and they have to report their work in the health camp.

We reached home, and everyone went to their places after dropping us. Ma and papa must be sleeping; it's already past 10.

"Navya, do you need anything?" I asked her.

"I need nothing, Manik. I'll go to my room and sleep," she said.

"Okay, then, good night, Navya," I said and went to my room to sleep.

I refreshed and went to the balcony; today the moon is looking so beautiful. I closed my eyes to feel the cool breeze. Suddenly, a face flashed in front of my eyes; it is the girl I saw in the temple. I don't want to open my eyes, but I have to. I can't stand the entire night here.

If she is written in my fate, I am gonna meet her somewhere. If not, then I can't do anything. But I have a feeling that I am gonna meet her soon. With these thoughts, I slept.

The next morning came earlier than expected. Everyone was busy with work. Manik and Navya had their breakfast and left for the hospital.

Nyonika and Harsh were having their breakfast together.

"Nyonika, what are you thinking? Could you mind sharing with me?" Harsh said.

"How can you tell that I was thinking something?" Nyonika asked, even after knowing the answer.

Harsh said, "I've been married to you for the past 30 years. Do you think it's difficult for me to know?"

"Okay, I lost to you," Nyonika said.

"Tell me fast now, what are you thinking about?" he said, getting impatient.

"I am thinking about Manik's marriage. He is already 28 years old. We have to know Manik's opinion on marriage. What do you think about it?" she asked him.

"What you said is right, Nyo, but we have to know his opinion before we can proceed further. We will ask him once he is free from his work," he said.

They completed their breakfast and went to work.

Nandini pov

Today was Avi's and my first day at the hospital. I woke up early, did yoga, freshened up, and prayed to God.

"Amma, I'm getting late. What's for tiffin today?" I shouted from the dining table while checking if I had kept my documents properly in my bag.

I prayed to God for a daughter, not a loudspeaker who is always on high volume and never turns off," my Amma said, placing a dosa on my plate.

"What did I do now? I just asked about tiffin, see Appa, Amma always scolds me," I said, complaining to my Appa.

"Oye, why are you shouting at my daughter on her first day at the hospital? She is tense. Don't scold her first thing in the morning," my Appa said, taking my side.

"I love you, Appa," I said with a bright smile.

"Why don't you come to the kitchen and make dosa, Vishnu? I can have a chat with our daughter in the meantime" my Amma said, placing another dosa on my plate.
