After checking on their patient, Manik and Nandini headed towards the ED. Nandini was with Manik because Yash asked her to assist Manik today.
The patient's husband is not there yet, so they were waiting for him.
"So, he is the kid who fell from the overpass," Manik said while staring in a particular direction.

Sorry, I am assisting him as a teenager who tried to commit suicide.
"Hey Arun, we got your scans back, good news, it's just a simple fracture. Your parents are on their way," Yash said.
"Mind if I check your eyes?" Yash asked. "How did you go over the edge of that overpass?"
"The railing was kinda low, I guess," Arun said.
"But I mean, were you fooling around with your friends? Did you lose your balance?" Yash asked, trying to gather information.
"Could we do this later? My head really hurts," Arun said, trying to end the conversation.
"Sure," Yash said, "but I do want to make sure you're okay and that something like this doesn't happen again. So, I will have another doctor come in and see you in a bit, okay? Maybe you'll feel up to talking then," Yash asked.
Arun nodded his head and closed his eyes.
Yash came out of the treatment cabin.
"What is he saying, Dr. Yash? Did he accept that he tried to commit suicide?" Manik asked.
"What about his parents? Are they here?" Nandini asked.
"They're not here yet. It kinda looks complicated," Yash said.
"Dr. Manik, your patient's husband is here," the nurse informed him.
"Okay, we are coming," Manik said. They left towards the ICU area.
"Hello, sir. We are your wife's doctors. My name is Manik, and she is Nandini," Manik introduced themselves.
"Hello to you. How is my wife? How did this happen, and where is she?" he asked.
"Your wife is out of danger at present. She is under sedation. We performed surgery on her diaphragm because it was ruptured, and she is in tension pneumonia."
"A boy fell over your wife's car windshield. She lost control and hit the divider," Manik said.
"Can I meet her, please?" he asked Manik and Nandini.
"Yes, you can come with us," Manik said.
