Adopted by Harry Potter

Goodbye

"I want the new Harry potter book! Please mom? You know how bad i want it" Nancy asked her mom. Nancy and her mom were at the mall looking for new summer clothes. Nancy has always loved harry potter since her mom showed it to her when she was four. She has long brown hair and a pair of big round glasses just like harry potter himself. She has always wondered what it was like to be apart of the potter family. To have Harry as her dad Ginny as her mom and Albus serverus Potter and Sirius Potter as her brothers and Lily Potter as her sister.

"NO Nancy, i just bought you a Harry Potter shirt. And why do you need it anyway? You already have all of the books." Nancy 's mom protested trying to sound as stern as possible. Nancy looked up with her finger on her chin "oh i don't know, maybe because cooper ripped mine to screeds!" Nancy yelled. Everyone around her looked at her like she had just come out of Narnia. Nancy's mom looked at her with fire in her eyes. She grabbed her arm and pulled her out the door and into the car. Nancy nor her mom said anything the whole car ride home. All her mom could do was look at her out of the corner of her eye.

Once they got home neither of them said a word to each other. Her mom went into the kitchen to start dinner, and Nancy ran upstairs and slammed her door shut. Her room looked like a Hogwarts dorm room with posters every where. She had a picture of her, her mom and dad before her dad had died in a car crash. Ever since then her mom has let herself g mentally. She can barley think straight anymore. Nancy never knows when shes gonna crack under pressure of being a single mother. They barley have any food in the house.

Nancy sits on her bed hugging the family photo of all of them together.

After about 10 minutes she hears the front door slam closed waking her up. She looks out of her window which is in the front of the house and she sees her mom getting into the car and drives straight into another car speeding the wrong way down the street. Nancy runs downstairs. When she gets to the door she sees a note on it 'Running to the store to pick up some egg. ill be back in 10-20 minutes. love you'.

She puts down the note and runs outside to see that her mother wasn't wearing a seat belt, flew into the windshield and broke her neck on impact.

Her mom was all she had.

Her mom was all she was.

And now.

Shes gone.
