Ginny woke up in the morning to someone lightly stroking her cheek. She looked up into Harry's bright green eyes and smiled. "Good morning, love," he said. "Well, more like good afternoon. It's already four o'clock. We slept right through the morning." Ginny bolted upright. "Four o'clock? Oh! Mum must be worried sick!" She stood up and found her body to be extremely stiff and sore. She started walking fast towards the portrait hole, despite the complaints of her aching leg muscles. Harry followed her out of the Common Room, and they made their way back to the Great Hall. When they had reached it and walked inside, they found a very worried looking Mr. and Mrs. Weasley talking to Professor McGonagall.

Harry and Ginny started making their way over to them. When her mum saw them, she ran up and nearly suffocated Ginny in a hug. "Oh Ginny! I was so worried about you. Where have you been?" she asked half angry half upset. She gave Harry a bone crushing hug as well. "I am so sorry Mum! We were exhausted so we went up to the Common Room to get some sleep. I wasn't thnking. I didn't realize how worried you would be until I woke up." Ginny looked up at her mother with tears in her eyes. She felt like she was a little girl again, when she got in trouble and didn't want to be punished.

"We were all so worried about you," said Mrs. Weasley, giving her daughter another hug. She smiled weakly. "Thank goodness you are both safe," she said. Ginny looked down. Mr. Weasley stepped up next to his wife, putting an arm around her shoulder. "Everyone is waiting for us at the Burrow. Harry, you must come with us. Tonight we are honoring Fred-," his voice cracked and he swallowed hard, unable to continue.

Harry wrapped an arm around Ginny's shoulder as she watched her parents with a lump in her throat. She didn't feel ready to face the fact that Fred was gone. Tonight she would be forced to remember that he wasn't ever coming back. She would never hear him laughing and joking with George again. She would never be apart of one of his pranks again. And worst of all she would never be able to talk to him again. A single tear slipped down her cheek, despite her greatest efforts to hold it back.

"It's time," said Mr. Weasley and Ginny nodded. Harry released her and she walked over to her parents and they both hugged her. When they pulled away, more tears had escaped Ginny's eyes. Mr. Weasley held out his hand so they could disapparate back to the Burrow. She looked over at Harry but he shook his head. "You go on," he told her. "There are some things I have to take care of here first." Ginny nodded and saw him walk towards Professor McGonagall. She turned back to her parents, then hesitantly took her father's hand.

Ginny experienced an uncomfortable sensation, like she was being squeezed and pulled through a small tube. She couldn't breathe. After about two seconds, she landed in the sitting room of the Burrow. She felt sick, and doubled over, gagging. Her mother appeared seconds after they did, and rushed over and put a hand on Ginny's shoulder. After a minute, when she had composed herself, she looked around and saw all of her family and a few others sitting, apparently waiting for them. She saw Charlie, Bill, Fleur, Percy, George, Lee Jordan, Angelina Johnson, Ron, and Hermione. Hermione stood up, her eyes brimming with tears and walked over to hug her friend.

As the full impact of everything that had happened hit her, she cried into Hermione's shoulder. She led her over to the couch where she and Ron were sitting, and sat her between them. Ginny wrapped her arms around her brother, needing the comfort of his strong arms around her. She could feel his body shake with silent sobs, as he held her. She let go and wiped the tears from her face. She realized the room was very quiet. The only sounds were muffled crying from various people in the room. Finally Mr. Weasley stood up and addressed them. "We are here to honor a great young man, wizard, friend, brother, son, and jokester," he smiled and paused, and several people gave a light laugh. "Fred was a big part of all of our lives. He did not deserve to be murdered so young in life. However, he would not want us to sit around and mourn him. He would want us to celebrate, remember, and live life to the fullest. Does anyone have any stories they would like to share?" he asked. Everyone took turns sharing their stories and memories of Fred.

After a few people had shared, there was a loud crack and everyone turned to see Harry standing in the doorway. He came over and sat down next to Hermione. They continued to share their memories, laughing and crying at intervals, raising up Firewhiskey in a toast after every story until everyone had finished. There was another short silence, interrupted by Mrs. Weasley. "Dinner will be served in fifteen minutes. Everyone go and wash up while I finish getting it ready," she said. Everyone stood up and embraced one another. Ginny hugged Ron and Hermione, then walked over to Harry. She hugged him tightly, then pulled away and looked into his face. "I'm glad you came, Harry. It really means a lot to me," said Ginny.

Harry took her face in his hands. "Of course I came. I miss him too." He hugged Ginny again, then looked down at his feet. "Harry it wasn't your fault you know. You couldn't have stopped it." Harry looked up at her with tears in his eyes. "I'm so sorry," he whispered. She touched his cheek, then buried her face in his shoulder.

When it was time to eat, Mrs. Weasley called them all into the kitchen. They all sat down, and Mr. Weasley stood up. He got everyone's attention and raised his glass. "To Fred," he said. Everyone else stood up and raised their glasses too. "To Fred," they repeated. They all took a drink, then sat back down to eat.
