"MAKING PANCAKES SHOULDN'T BE THIS HARD." Jisung yelled, staring at the burnt pancakes on a plate. He sighs, "Calm down.. fourth time's the charm." He positively forced out a smile, picking up the batter.
knock knock
Jisung rolls his eyes, "Leave me alone!" He yelled at the door, not bothering to look at it.
"Why? Do you not love me anymore?" Minho's voice answered back.
Jisung's eyes widens as he felt his stomach drop. He completely forgot about the thought of Minho coming back. He hurriedly washes his hands and tidies himself, brushing off flour on his clothes. He walks to the door, taking a deep breath before opening it. He peeps his head out.
"Yes?" Jisung smiled nervously.
Minho raised a brow, "Hi.. Why are you peeping? Are you naked down there or something?" He laughs, the sight of the younger peeping only his head out the door is really adorable.
"No! I just- what do you need? Can I help you with something?" Jisung chuckled awkwardly, trying his best to save himself.
"Well.. can I come in first?" Minho smiled.
"Uh.." Jisung sighs, giving up. "Fine, yeah." He opens the door all the way. Jisung tilts his head in confusion as he sees Minho completely, both of his hand behind his back as if he's hiding something.
"What's with you? Is that powder?" Minho furrowed his eyebrows, seeing the younger's clothes covered in white stuff.
"Maybe? What's wrong with your hands behind your back? Are you handcuffed?" Jisung asked back, making the older chuckle.
"Do I look like a bad guy to you?" Minho smiles, revealing both of his hands.
Jisung gasped, covering his mouth as his eyes widens in surprise.
Minho is holding a bouquet of red tulips on his right hand and a bag on his left.
"W-What.."
"Flowers for you. And this.. I hope you like it." Minho handed the bag and flowers to Jisung, eyes full of affection. "Don't open the bag yet, that comes for later. I want to know what you're up to first." He chuckles.
Jisung couldn't help but smile widely, smelling the fresh flowers. "Hyung.. you're gonna make me cry." He pouts, trying his best to hold back tears.
"No~ don't cry, please." Minho chuckles at the younger's cuteness. He close the gap between them, hugging the younger close to comfort him. "Why do you feel the need to cry, hm?"
"Because this is my first time receiving flowers." Jisung hugs back, pouting.
Minho pulls away, tucking the younger's hair behind his ear gently. "So glad that I'm the first." He smiles, kissing Jisung on the forehead.
This made Jisung pout much harder, tears filling his eyes as he finds it harder to hold back his tears. His heart can't take all the affection from the older.
"No no no, I'm sorry don't cryyy!"
"It's your fault!"
"I'm sorryyy" Minho chuckles, his eyes averted to the younger's clothes. He brushes some of it off, completely confused as he unconsciously smells it from his hand. "Flour??" He raised a brow at the younger.
"Um... About that.." Jisung smiles awkwardly. "Come in." He steps aside, signalling the older to come in.
Minho walked in the dorm, laughing as soon as he sniffs in. "Alright, I understand now." He looks at the younger who's smiling innocently. "What made you cook pancakes in 5pm?"
"I was bored.."
As Minho was about to walk in further, Jisung hurriedly runs infront of him to prevent him from seeing the mess he made.
"W-Wait!"
"Why?" Minho raised a brow.
"You wouldn't want to see all that.."
Minho laughs, "Oh, Ji. Felix loves baking, I'm used to seeing stuff scattered around the kitchen." He smiles, stealing a peck on Jisung's cheek. The younger froze making Minho walk past him. "Whoa." Minho looks around the kitchen, it's a complete mess. Egg shells on the counter, pancake batter all over the place, flour scattered on the counter and floor, and the best part. The burnt pancakes.
Jisung sighs, placing the bag and flowers down on the couch. Walking to the kitchen, "I'm trying my best.. I wanted to learn at least one thing." He shamefully scratches the back of his neck, waiting for the laughs he'll receive from the older. But to his surprise, instead of hearing laughs, he sees Minho smiling at him lovingly which made him taken aback.
"You did well. Do you want me to teach you?" Minho smiles.
Jisung swears his heart almost jump out of his chest. "Y-You don't find it funny?"
"Funny? What do you mean?"
"Well.. I completely suck in the kitchen. Others usually laugh at someone like that."
"There's nothing funny about it. The best part is that you're trying. And you're doing great! This batter looks really good." Minho complimented, looking around the counter.
"Thank you.." Jisung couldn't help but smile. This confirms it. Lee Minho is a wonderful person, and he's falling deeply for him.
"So? Do you want me to teach you?"
"Yes, please."
"Alright! First of all you need to clean while you're at it, then..."
~
"Not yet... now!"
Jisung flips the pancake immediately. His eyes lit up as he was greeted by a perfectly cooked side. "I did it!" He grins happily at the older.
"Great job~ Told you. You need to wait at least 2 and a half minutes before flipping it. Wait for the bubbles to pop." Minho smiles, patting the younger on the head.
"Thank you! You're so good, where did you learn how to cook?"
"From my mother. Anyways, let's call it a day and clean up." Minho stated, looking at the plate full of pancakes. "Now, all we have to figure out is how to eat all these." He chuckles.
"Leave it to me! I love pancakes." Jisung smiles excitedly, turning off the stove.
"Alright then." Minho chuckles, getting a clean fork for Jisung to use. He also takes out the syrup from the cabinet, making the younger's eyes lit up.
"Whoa, you bought syrup too?"
