Tiso was waiting on a bench in the King's Station. This was it. The Colosseum of Fools. He had been waiting for this for too long, and now it was here. Ghost, who he had grudgingly let show him the way, rang the small golden bell on an iron stick. A rumbling followed, and The Last Stag galloped into the opening.

"Filthy beast," Tiso muttered as he got on. "A real warrior-" he was cut off as the Stag left with a burst of speed, into the tunnels. "Why did I agree to this!"

He yelled at Ghost over the stomps of the stag. Ghost ignored him, just absentmindedly filing through his charms. So Tiso just layed back, and just as he was about to fall asleep, they skidded to a halt. "We're here," rumbled the Stag. "I figured that out, thanks," he said, annoyed.

Ghost happily leaped off the stag, and led Tiso ahead. His eyes widened as they approached the huge arena. He could hear the crowd chanting already.

But as Tiso walked to the entrance, Ghost stopped him and shook his head. "What do you mean!? The only other entrance is the champions..." Ghost nodded.

"But-I..." He sputtered, outraged. "A simple vessel like you might not, but I'll conquer all the challenges, not just skip to the end-" "Too late for that." A tall, female figure in copper armor approached. She was his height, and two sleek, black antennae rose from her helmet. "I'm Godtamer," she said before he could respond. "And you're my next challenger."

Tiso brought all his fury with the knight to the battlefield that day, not helpless unlike every other challenger to Godtamer. Her beast reared up as he cut into its underbelly, and it spat out a sizzling spay of infection. It glanced off his armor however. But while he was attacking the beast, Godtamer came from behind him, and struck him with her blade. "Stupid Ant," he muttered, as he tried to fight through his pain.

In the end, Godtamer bested him harmlessly, except for his side wound and minor scratches. He could tell she wanted to keep fighting; but Ghost had made her promise not to kill him, and she certainly didn't want to anger the slayer of the Radiance. As he bathed in the healing springs afterward, he felt someone else enter.

He wasn't totally mortified of defeat; after all, he had been the strongest challenger in a few decades. "Mmm," he mumbled, acknowledging her. She had taken off her armor pieces except for her helmet. She glanced at his wound. There was an awkward silence between them until she said, "Sorry about that."

 He looked moodily at her.

"For what?"

This," he gestured toward his wound, "Is both my trade and yours. We're fighters. Gladiators. If you feel sorry, you're no warrior." She tilted her head at him. "I told Ghost I wouldn't hurt you badly. But you've been the first one to push me like that in years. I admire that." She then added almost unblushingly, "And you're different anyway."

He floated there frozen for a second, unable to respond. He regained his thoughts and said, "Well what do you mean by that!?" He looked suspiciously at her. She came a bit closer to him, and he scooted back a few feet.

"Ghost said you'd be the total opposite of this." She cocked her head again. "To others maybe." She leaned in, her visor sliding up revealing her face. He didn't get to look at it long though as she kissed him full throttle.

He sort of just stood there in the water, until he fully realized what was happening. He sped backward at least twenty feet and visor slid down. "We just met, Godtamer!? What the hell do you think you're doing?!" She shrugged dismissively.

"You-I don't..." "You want me to do it again," she observed, slouching back. "I do not!" He spat. "Well, do I have permission to?" The words floated in the air for a moment. "To do what?" "To kiss you again? I can tell you enjoyed it."

"I did not-alright fine, maybe a little." She chuckled. He sat with his arms crossed, but loosened up as she once again touched her lips to his. "Look, if this is going to be a...a thing," he said after, waving his arms around them.

"Just promise me one thing." "And what's that?"

"Don't you dare tell Ghost."

Yeah, this is pretty identical. Mostly because I have the first few saved on Google Docs, which was a lifesaver. So, thanks for reading, and stay updated!
