MACKENZIE
"W-W-WHAT? NO! OF COURSE NOT! WHY WOULD I BE-" HENRY STUTTERED. I raise my eyebrow and roll my eyes. "Alright- stop." I cut Henry off. he was silent instantly. I smiled at him. "That painting of a butterfly, take it off the wall," I said and crossed my arms. "uh, well- uh-" Henry stuttered but I cut him off again.
"Now, Henry," I said. He walked towards the painting and slowly took it off the wall, making me see the gum that I saw the first time I came here. I smiled at Henry, he just looked very nervous. "Take one, it seems delicious," I said.
Henry swallowed. he took the gum in his hands and slowly opened it, one glowing ball fell out. he held it up, I signaled him to put it in his mouth and chew it. he slowly put the gum in his mouth and started chewing.
I smiled. "Blow a bubble," I said. His eyes widened, but he followed my instructions. When the bubble formed, it weirdly glowed, it became so big that it popped and completely changed Henry's whole outfit. And guess who I saw?
Kid danger.
"That wasn't so hard was it?" I said to him. "How did you find out?" he asked me. I sighed and rolled my eyes. "Are you serious? That more people haven't found out that you are Kid Danger is just stupid, you can easily see that Kid Danger and Henry Hart are the same people." I said.
"I mean, I wasn't sure because well, you. But I'm just not stupid you know?" I added. Then Henry just suddenly looked stressed. "Look, you can't tell anyone, alright? no one!" He told me and grabbed my shoulders. I nod. "Who is Captain Man, is it your boss from junk and stuff?" I ask him.
He sighs, giving me the answer I was looking for. "I'm such a genius!" I squeal. "Can I meet him?" I ask Henry, who is currently sitting on his bed. "Listen Kenzie, I swore an oath to keep my mouth shut, I could get fired if I told anyone this." He said.
I shrug. "But you didn't tell me, I figured it out," I said. Henry sighed. "Let me talk to my boss first, alright?" He said and I nodded.
