We all walked into the studio for the auditions to begin. Giselle was smiling. I found it weird but she's always been a crazy girl so I didn't think much of it. Me and Emily stood laughing at Michelle's pants because they were ripped. Does she even have new clothes?

"Okay, let's start." Miss Kate said with a smile.

First up is Amanda, she's really good. Her dance is literally- I don't even know because that's how good she is. I stand with Em at the back and she's just smiling so much at looking at someone. It's in Michelle and Eldon's direction. But why?

Next up is Cierra. She's really good as well but it's a tiebreaker between them two. Cierra could be really good for our team and Amanda is too.

After the auditions, Miss Kate came and announced who got the spot.

"The person who got the spot was...

Cierra!"

We all clapped. Giselle looked a certain sad and disappointed. I noticed how David wasn't here. What is going on today?

I was kinda bummed that Amanda didn't get the spot at A Troupe. She was really good. I pulled her into a hug and smiled. I wished I could kiss her but I couldn't.

"You should've got the spot, you were really good." I said to her.

"Thanks, but I guess Miss Kate's blind then." She said, making me chuckle.

"You never changed huh," I said smiling.

"Nope, but only for you." She said. I hugged her again.

"Meet me tomorrow at the back entrance of Elite," She whispers into my ear. I nod.

Emily Beaton:

I thought it was weird that Amanda and Giselle were smiling at each other and hugging. She even whispered something into her ear. Like? Since when were they even close? She's part of our RIVAL team.

I sat down in Studio B to do my homework because it was WAY too noisy in A because of the boys. They were making animal noises. Animal noises!

I saw Michelle come in with a tear stained face. I mean I don't really care but why?

"Oh sorry, I didn't know anyone was gonna be here." She said with a shaky voice. I hate her but I felt bad.

"It's fine, you can sit down." I said. She tried to smile and sat down next to me. She wiped her wet eyes.

"What's wrong?" I asked her putting my hand on hers. I really wanted to sanitize my hands after that because I only did it to get on her good side.

"I got a c-call from my mom...that my p-parents are getting a d-divorce." She said sniffling. Guilt hit me like a tonne of bricks. I was laughing at her earlier.

"I'm, I'm so sorry Michelle." I said hugging her. She cried into my shoulder. She pulled away.

"I look like an idiot crying, sorry," She said wiping her eyes again.
