Uraraka slid down the weapon, her Quirk taking a toll on her. Midoriya lay still on the ground, his arms damaged from the combination of his Quirk and Bakugo's attack.

"What a weird way for this to end. The losers are practically untouched and the winners are both on the ground."

"How does the old saying go? They may have lost the battle, but they won the war."

"This class is intense."

All Might went out to the building and had a couple of robots carry Midoriya to the nurse's office. He glanced over at Bakugo, who seemed shaken up. All Might went to calm him down cause he looked like he was hyperventilating.

They came back to the monitoring room. All Might stood in front of the group.

"Well, despite the results, the MVP for this exercise is young Iida," All Might said.

The students gasped and whispered among themselves.

"Shouldn't it be one of the heroes instead since they're the winners?" Asui asked.

"Hm, valid question. Why didn't I choose one of those two? Who has a guess?"

Yaoyorozu's hand immediately shot into the air. "Sir, I can tell you why. Iida embraced this challenge. He was the only one who truly adapted to his assigned role. I'll explain.

"Bakugo's judgment was clouded by a personal grudge against Midoriya. As you pointed out earlier that, launching a large-scale attack indoors was a foolish move, it could've been disastrous. Similarly, Midoriya's plan was also poorly thought out, considering the amount of damage that he received. He rendered himself helpless, not smart.

"As for Uraraka, she let her guard down mid-battle and her final attack was far too reckless given the hypothetical stakes. If she'd treated the fake weapon as though it were real, she never would have risked using such an imprecise move.

"Iida was fully prepared for his opponent's arrival. He had a strategy and never lost sight of his mission to protect the dummy weapon, even if he was foiled in the end."

Iida looked honored at her observation. YN scoffed and crossed his arms. Midoriya was cooler though.

Yaoyorozu continued, "Technically the hero team won, yes, but they took advantage of the fact that this was training. They didn't respect the spirit of the trial."

"I think Midoriya deserves it," YN said. "Sure, his plan wasn't reliable but I disagree with the fact that they didn't respect the spirit of the trial.

"He gave up his entire body to give Uraraka the chance to capture the weapon. It shows how dedicated he is to proving himself to be a capable hero. Plus, he had no other choice. We all know his Quirk is too much for his body and he was trying to avoid using it. But in the end, he had to if he wanted his team to win.

"I think both of them deserve the title of MVP. Both for their dedication to winning for their team." He turned to Yaoyorozu. "I agree that Iida deserves the title but I also think Midoriya does. So, agree to disagree."

Yaoyorozu glared at him, but he just smirked at her. Something tells me that working with him is going to be excruciating.

"Yes . . . well, both of you are correct in your own ways," All Might said, his voice shaking. "But, you overlooked a few things. Young Iida could've relaxed a bit in the exercise, but otherwise, you both somewhat nailed it."

"One should always start with the basics and devote themselves wholeheartedly to learning," Yaoyorozu said, looking at the (color) haired boy. "That's the only way to become a top hero."
