Chapter 6

Ana and Kate jumped when the front door slammed shut "Cass?" Ana asked getting, up from the sofa.

Cassandra didn't say anything as she rushed past her sister and best friend and into her bedroom, slamming the door shut and locking it "Cass? What happened? Are you okay?" Ana asked through the door as she tried to open it only to find it locked

Kate was next to her, looking worried for the younger Steele twin "Cass, did Christian do something?" Kate asked as Ana continued to bang on the door

"No! He didn't, I just want to be left alone" Cassandra called back dropping onto her bed "Cassandra please, if something happened, you can tell us" Cassandra heard Kate yell

"Nothing happened! Just go away!" Cassandra yelled before burying herself under her covers not even bothering to take off her boots

Ana and Kate shared a look outside the door, the two were worried. What the hell happened when Christian took her out for coffee? "Okay" Ana sighed looking back at her sister door "But we're here if you need to talk" When they didn't get a response back, the two went back to the living room

"What the hell happened? It was just coffee" Kate asked flopping down on the sofa, Ana following her move and flopping down next to her "I don't know" Ana groaned covering her face with her hands "And just when she was starting to get back out there as well"

Ana wished she knew what happened to her sister two years ago. She just wanted to help her but if Cassandra doesn't want her help then she couldn't force her.

Kate moved closer to Ana rubbing her back "It's going to be okay. We just need to wait it out and let Cassandra come to us" Ana turned her face sideways to look at Kate "And if she doesn't? If she keeps this a secret as well?"

"Then she does. But we stay with her, got it?"

"Got it"

It's been a week since the coffee date and Christian has tried to call and text Cassandra with no answer from the girl. He tried pushing her out of his mind, even thought about going to a scene to get Cassandra out of his mind but the thought repulsed him

He just wished, he knew what he said that spooked Cassandra so much that she ran from him. He never meant to scare her like that, he just wanted to know why she didn't believe in romance. He's never met a girl who didn't

Maybe a gift would help, He thought, picking up his phone to look through some books. From their coffee... outing, he knows that Cassandra loves books, any genre of book she loves, but mostly romance books. The sweet soft kind, not the hard smut kind

For someone who doesn't believe in love for herself, she sure does love reading about it Christian thought picking out 4 different books

Nodding his head, Cristina called Andrea into his office "Yes Mr. Grey?" Andrea asked. Christian set his phone down "I have ordered 4 books to be delivered here in about an hour. When they get here, bring them straight to me" Christian said

Andrea raised an eyebrow but marked down what he said "Got it. Anything else Mr. Grey?"

"That will be all, thank you"
