At noon, the birds were softly chirping, and the wind softly whistled through the trees. The sun shined through the blinds perfectly, immediately blinding a very tired Charlie. "Noooo" the woman groaned when she realized that it was time to get up. Today she had scheduled lunch with Tallulah at 2 o'clock, at their favorite salad place. With a final groan of detest, Charlie sat up in bed and yawned. She immediately perked up, even if only a little, when she heard a meow come from the other side of her bedroom door. After sliding out of bed and deciding to look for pajama shorts would be a waste of time, the woman opened the door wearing a sleep shirt and underwear.

Charlie didn't have any roommates, unless you count her cat Hockey, so she wasn't worried about getting dressed first. While in med school though, she shared a dorm with Tallulah, her favorite current coworker. The nights of endless studying, mental breakdowns, and panic attacks paved the way for a well-rounded friendship. In all honesty it wasn't much different. Even with Charlie being bisexual, and Tallulah being lesbian, they were comfortable wearing normal pajamas and night outfits around each other while still maintaining a completely platonic relationship. However, just because their relationship was strictly platonic doesn't mean they didn't flirt with each other non-stop.

As soon as she opened her bedroom door, Hockey sprinted in and plopped himself on the queen bed. He immediately curled up on the pale sage comforter and started to loudly purr. Charlie chuckled and walked over to the cheerful cat. After giving him a swift kiss on the head, causing him to let out a displeased meow, she entered her en-suite bathroom to officially start getting ready for the day. Like the rest of her apartment, it was roomy yet not extensive. The flooring was made of small, hexagonal shaped white marble tiles. The walls were a dull taupe which worked very well with the white and grey waves of the marble. The counter was made of the same marble, the drawers were painted a warm grey that looked good against both the taupe of the walls and mixed white-grey tile.

Looking in the mirror for the first time that day, Charlie's light green eyes widened at seeing the state of her bedhead. After a quick rummage through her drawers, she finally found her brush that had been stained to be a rainbow from how frequently she dyes her hair. She didn't mind the stains though; it just reminded her of how much she loves dying her hair.

Despite being monotone and quiet, Charlie's hair was always bright. Currently it was a bright blood-red. Charlie sighed as she finally tamed her bedhead, then put it into a high ponytail which was kind of hard considering all the layers she had in her hair. She had recently cut her hair, after a drunk manic episode, into a messy, shaggy wolf cut with wavy side bangs that reached her cheek bones. While in her drunken state she decided it would be fun to give herself an undercut as well. As expected, it didn't go well, when she woke up the next day she immediately panicked, and spam called Tallulah until she finally came over to assist the worried woman fix the mess that was her hair. In the end it turned out quite well and Charlie was happy with her undercut the undercut.

It was around two months from then and Charlie realized it was probably time to trim her undercut again. Turning her head slightly, she peered at the overgrown undercut and deduced it was indeed time to trim it. "Tallulah is definitely going to yell at me when I ask her to trim it again." Charlie grimaced recalling last time she requested for her work wife to trim her hair. After getting yelled at in Spanish for a staggering five minutes she got Tallulah to calm down enough to do her hair. To this day Charlie still did not know what Tallulah was saying or why she was so angry, all the crimson-headed girl did was ask for a trim.

Even though Tallulah is only 5'2" she can be terrifying, even to Charlie. Which honestly is amazing if a guy starts harassing Charlie, all Tallulah has to do is start yelling in Spanish and guys usually back off. Charlie laughed thinking about all the times the small Latina went off on rude patients or residents with overinflated egos.
