"Alright. I will help with whatever you need."

...
I was shocked by the words that just came out of my mouth. Was I seriously about to do this? Engage in whatever is happening right now!?
I took a deep breath. I still don't even understand anything properly. Can't believe I'm basically 'identified' as a clown now.
What the hell.

Rudy, the tall, red-haired clown began walking forward. I somehow managed to escape my heavy thoughts and slowly follow behind him. If anything, I'm lucky I haven't been eaten alive yet.
I still don't understand how this childish plan worked. Doesn't matter now...

We continued walking and walking, I was taking glances around the street we were walking along. Seemed very empty, no shit sherlock, if these clowns really are killing then it would make sense for the streets to be empty. I hope it's from people hiding away and not because our town population was going down... I shivered.
We stopped.

...?

I looked over at Rudy who had abruptly stopped, looking around. What?
I stopped and did the same, what happened?
Then I heard it.
I heard a faint sound of a dog barking...
A dog? Where did it come from? Where WAS it coming from?
We both continued to pause and glance around.
I gasped, but stopped myself quickly.
Up ahead was another clown. It was wearing a green suit with pink hair; and right in front of it was a... Balloon dog.
Wow. If this wasn't the most niche thing I've ever seen before, I don't know what is.
But, this is reality and instead of silly clowns, we have killer ones. I cannot believe what I'm seeing.
I stood there shocked, but I couldn't show it on my face. I just stared, mostly at the 'dog'...

I watched the two clowns talk to each other, the new clown was taking shocked glances behind Rudy to look at me. Shocker... Honestly, I would've done the same.
From what I'm seeing, he's probably asking what the hell is behind him. I couldn't understand what was directly being said, it was some weird sounding language. I guess that's their common language? But why can Rudy speak clear English?

Rudy turned around to look back at me, at this point I was just embarrassed to be standing here out in the open. Please, at this rate just take me if all you're gonna be doing is staring...
I froze up once the new clown began to approach me. I tried so hard to stay still, my fight or flight was fighting to not move.
It stared down at me and sniffed the air.
It mumbled something I couldn't understand.
Staring up at it was unsettling as hell.

"What are you doing out here? You should be with the others..." The pink-haired clown said, slightly raising its brow

The others? What does that mean? Other clowns?
!?

It started touching my clothes, as if it were inspecting what sort of material my flannel was made out of. I didn't even blink, I've never been so scared in my life. The time I almost launched a group of people off the rollercoaster on accident, yeah, this was somehow much worse.

The pink-haired clown said something else quietly in its language and turned around back to Rudy. Seriously, I need to think of an excuse on why I don't understand one word of it. 'My somehow weird clown parents never talked to me?' Do these things even have parents? Oh god.
The two clowns continued talking as I began fidgeting with my sleeves. What else could I do...
Suddenly, the pink-haired clown started walking away with its little dog on a leash. I exhaled.

Rudy turned around to look back at me then straight ahead once again.
I had to think fast. I don't wanna die just yet. How do I tell him that I can't understand...
