Y/N's POV:
"Maybe even help her out."
-----------------------------------------------------
What.
I was standing there appalled by that.
I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. I'm not even sure anymore... These Killer Clowns somehow accepted me and now want to show me all their little ways of killing innocent people... This all has to be one big joke. How does one end up in this situation. My brain can't comprehend any of this...I looked over to my right to see some of the other clowns discussing something amongst themselves, before turning back to me. I froze. I didn't know how to control my nervousness. I did nothing but stand there completely still. The urge to just scream and run away was hard.
Somehow, Rudy was the only clown I felt at ease with... weirdly... It WAS weird. I shouldn't be feeling like that with a killer. But I didn't know what else to feel. My mind was in a sort of state where I couldn't tell if I was just stuck in a long dream, laying comfortably back on my couch or in my bed after a long day of work, or if I really am gonna die...
I didn't wanna go out like this. This is horrid—"Y/N, was it?"
I turned, my face frozen.
It was one of the other clowns. It was the tallest of the bunch. I forget the name.... Slam?? No wait, Slim. Oops."Yes... It is." I said, responding softly due to my lack of attention. These thoughts of mine are way too damn long.
"Y/N. Well, we're gonna start heading around. I figured you didn't have any weapons, so I'm giving you this."
Slim proceeded to hand me a small, ray-like GUN? I silently panicked, carefully grabbing it from his hands. I looked down, inspecting the interesting thing."........Thank you, Slim. What does this do..?"
Slim nodded. "It's a cotton candy gun of course... to cacoon the humans."
I slowly nodded as well. He looked somewhat disappointed that I didn't realize what it was. Jeez, sorry I suppose.... I scoffed in my head.
"Ah, I see now...""We should get going now." Rudy finally chimed in. The other clowns agreed and cheered as I stood there still inspecting the gun. Doesn't look difficult to use. It looks exactly as if it were a fake gun for a child to play pretend with.
Just like this ridiculous night..... It's all just one big game.Rudy nudged my shoulder as a signal to start walking. I stayed silent as I began walking by his side, the other clowns a little more far back.
I did my usual looking around each street while walking, seeing how different it looked before the clowns came along... The random cotton candy bodies here and there, the party streamer, the many of parked cars in places they shouldn't be, other trash all around. It was so off.
I wonder if Marcy is doing okay... that poor girl. We've been walking in silence for a long time now. Rudy's a clown is he not... Where's my entertainment at? Why the hell am I feeling awkward tension... That's just me, right...
Guess I'm the conversation starter always.
I somehow chuckled to myself.
"So... what do you like to do for fun?"
I finally let out. Phew.I could see Rudy slightly look at me, confused.
"For fun?"I nodded, "Yeah. You're a clown, you have to have a way to entertain yourself, no?"
He looked as if he were lost once again.
"I guess you're right. I really find myself entertaining if I'm with other klowns. Otherwise, I'm just myself."I tried to process what this meant. Just himself? Sooo he called himself boring apparently.
"So, you're saying you're boring? That can't be right."He lightly shrugged. "I just enjoy myself alone sometimes, quiet or not. It depends what I'm doing."
