"Come in." I told her when we stepped inside the house. Adie just smiled at me and put her hands inside her front pockets and followed me.

She's wearing black trousers that kind of look formal, white short sleeve polo that looks way too neat on her. She has a watch on her right arm- she must be a left handed person. She also has a ring on her right pointing finger, and a gold necklace.

Isn't she so pretty and pogi and neat and all kinds of nice?

Not everyone noticed her right away pero meron paring nakapansin sa amin agad.

"Oh hello!" Nasa isang side sila ng bahay with my other cousins and other friends "Uy Joe, sino tong friend mo?" She asked me.

Adie waved her hand to their direction but stayed standing still beside me. "Helloo. I'm Adie po, I'm Joe's..." She trailed off. "Ahh... Merry Christmas, po!" She greeted my cousins like she's known them for a while.

"Merry Christmas, Adie. Shot?" One of my cousins' friends offered.

"Thank you po, pero I'm driving po kasi." She answered and smiled at me.

I was just watching their interaction with amusement. Adie made her way towards my cousins and their friends to chat with them. She dragged me when she realized I wasn't walking with her. They had a few minutes of chit chat when I decided I wanted to show her around.

"Oh my god. Akala ko hindi mo na ako papaalisin don eh." Adie told me when I excused the two of us from the group.

I laughed at her so hard I almost started crying. "Bakit ka kasi lumapit?" I asked her, still laughing. She was laughing with me now.

"I was being polite, Joe." She stated that I feel like could be considered a pout too. "Can I have a glass of water, please?" She asked me.

Ay oo nga pala.

"Yes, oo pala. Tara sa kitchen, I think mom is in there too. Pakilala kita." I told her. I said the last part to tease her kaso parang hindi siya affected, mukang excited pa nga siya.

"Okay, let's go." She answered and walked close up beside me.

She's confident but not too much to be considered bossy- its not off putting, it's actually attractive. She's friendly but can be firm on her boundaries. She's good with conversing but is also shy.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I realized how much I have noticed and learned about her in less than an hour. "Just water? We have soft drinks, juices, or mocktails, if you want something else?" I asked her.

"Okay, I'll have juice nalang, thank you. I'm ok with any juice." She said as she stopped by the door way and allowed me to grab her what she wants.

"Okay, give me sec." I told her.

I was opening the fridge when I heard Adie speak again. "Hello po. Bless po."

I turned to look at her and laughed at the situation in front of me.

"Hello, anak. God bless."

Adie turned towards me, waiting for some kind of aid from me- to introduce her to this man that just showed up in the kitchen, but i stayed quiet and continued to pour her iced tea in a glass.

"Oh, are you with Joey ba? I didn't know she's bringing someone over for Christmas eve. Speaking of, Merry Christmas."

Adie fully turned to the man he is speaking to. "Yes, po. Biglaan lang po, tito. Merry Christmas rin po. I'm Adie po pala." She told him.

"I'm Seth, Adie. Tatay ni Joey. Kumain ka na ba? We have food sa dining room." He told her. "Joey, give her something to eat, anak." Dad told me.

"Okay, lang po Tito Seth. Thank you po, okay na po ako sa juice." She answered my dad for me. "Tito, aalis po kami ni Joey, okay lang po?" She asked my dad.

My parents are strict when it comes to me. I would never had the strength to ask my parents to go out that way. Also, nung highschool, pahirapan rin sila Avery ipagpaalam ako sa parents ko everytime we had to go out.

My dad looked at his watch. "Nako anak, it's already 1:45am, have her home nalang ng 4am." He answered Adie.

I'm just going to pretend I havent been blushing for the past minutes for what my dad has been calling Adie. I know it's normal, pero not with Adie.

"Opo, hatid ko nalang po ulit siya dito before 4. May dala naman po akong car, tito. Thank you po." She smiled at my dad. "Joeyy, juice pleaseeee" She begged me.

Lumapit naman agad ako sakaniya and inabot yung juice. "Paalam lang rin po ako kay mom, dad." I told him.

"Mamaya nalang po tito, thanks po ulit!" Adie bid my dad bye.

Adie and I went straight to the front door. "Akala ko ba magpapalam ka pa sa mom mo?" She asked me.

I have already opened the door when I answered her. "No na, if dad is okay with it, mom is okay with it. ahhhahaaha" I answered her honestly. "I'll just send her a text." I smiled at her.

Papasok na kami ng car when she gave me a smaller bouquet of flowers from the back seat. "Merry Christmas, Joey." She smiled sweetly.
