Miller Pov:
I was getting closer to her step by step, and she was backing off step by step until we both reached my balcony.
Sezal's POV:
Foot by foot, he took me to his balcony. "What are you doing?" My voice started cracking. "We can't move further, your balcony ended, moron," my heart started beating fast because we were too close.
"Hazel, are you scared of me?" Miller smirked. "First! I'm not Hazel. It's Sezal. Secondly Stop calling me that," I turned my head to the left so there would be some space between our faces.
"I will call you Hazel, from now on because you have pretty hazel eyes.", he winked.
I don't know what he was trying to do, but it was making me uncomfortable. I tripped over my dress. Great, that was the last straw. "Why do you keep falling for me?"
he chuckled in a husky voice. "That's an old pickup line, you know that right?" I rolled my eyes. "How about you keep falling for me, and I'll hold you up every time," he hunched and held the boundary of the balcony.
"In your dreams, Miller! Right now, you're making me uncomfortable, kindly back off," honestly, I wasn't. I was enjoying the moment, but still, when you act tough, it comes with some conditions.
"What if I won't?," he smirked while his light gray eyes were sparkling in the moonlight and his perfect well built body was building heat in my body.
Okay, Sezal, get a grip. You don't have to come across as easy to get. I removed all the thoughts. "I was just curious, that's it," I slouched nervously.
"Fair enough," he tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear. "You see those girls down there," he pointed to the girls dancing crazily in the garden. "those floozy friends of yours were trying to flirt with me," he looked at Morgan.
God knows how much I hate those bitches. "You mean Morgan, Eve, and Chanty?" I asked in confusion. "I don't know the chick who bullied you today in the hallway," his smile faded away while his eyes were gazing on my lips.
"She is Morgan," I straightened my back. "I don't care who she is," he looked away. "Well, Hazel, are you up for my offer? Friends?" he hunched again and this time even more closer. our eyes formed a eye contact. Miller's gaze was bouncing between my eyes and lips.
Not again, this time our faces were 4 inches apart. "Seems you want to be friends with benefits," I pushed him. Before I left, Mom called me. I showed it to Miller, shrugged my shoulders, and went inside his giant room from the balcony.
"Hello, Mom, yes! Yes! I am on my way. I will be home," I lied as always. "Liar," he chuckled at me. I rolled my eyes and disconnected the call. "Don't you feel ashamed lying openly?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Okay! Okay! I don't go to parties normally, and I didn't tell my mom because obviously, she wouldn't have said yes, so.." I turned away. "So that means you're leaving me?" he crossed his arms.
"What do you mean by leaving you? I have to go home. I am not your girlfriend or something that I would stay with you," I picked my bag from his desk while he was leaning on the door of his room.
"Hazel, maybe not today or tomorrow, but one day, you'll be mine," he mumbled. "Excuse me?" "Nevermind! Sezal, should I drop you home? It's late at night," he rolled his shoulder and stretched his arms.
"No thanks. If Mom sees me with a man late at night, she will underground me, and I don't want that," I was leaving his room. "I guess, bye! See you tomorrow," I waved my hand at him. "See you, Hazel," some of his hair got over his face as he tilted his head with a smile.
