Ch.10: Henry

"Hannah, could you do me a favor?" I ask as I hang up with Gobber. I did not hear her answer so I looked up to see her working on her Macbook with headphones on. And I could safely bet that it's on max volume. So like any brother, I walked to her and snatched the headphones from her head. "Hey, what's that for." She asked pissed. I peek at her screen to see she is working on some kind of project. "I was talking to you, " I said sitting across from her. "OK, What do you want?" She asked going back to whatever she was doing. "bring Astrid to my concert. " I could see the shock on her face. "Come again please" she shook her head. "Bring Astrid to my concert." I repeated. "and why don't you do it." she raised her eyebrow "Cause She doesn't know who I am," I said like it was common sense. "and why don't you tell her." She asked. "I will after the concert. " I answer. "You know She might get mad at you right." I nod. "If you Screw up don't come to me 'cause all you will get is an 'I told you so' deal." I nod as I open my own Macbook. "deal". "I swear this girl will be the one that brings you to your knees and I will enjoy every second of it" I throw a pillow at her which only makes her laugh

Two days later at Henry's Concert

I could see them. Hannah, Heather, Jack, Elsa, Astrid, and her brother Aaron along with Heather's assistant Fishlegs and her brother Dagur. They were all sitting in the first row. That row had been made for family and friends to attend my concert in total privacy. It was made especially for when Hannah wanted to attend any of my concerts. a cool feature is that it gives me a full uninterrupted view of whoever is there so I can watch the people who are close to my heart enjoying their time with something I enjoy doing.

I hear the beginning of the next song as the director tells me to take my place for the next song. I locked eyes with Astrid and gave her a Sheepish smile as I started to sing.

Throughout the whole show, I could feel Astrid's eyes on me. Sure thousands of people are watching me but when She looked at me I could feel it deep inside my soul. It's like she could see through me.

As the show nearly finished I took a breath. I locked eyes with her again to see her reaction to what I had planned. The look of confusion and then utter shock as the song starts is worth whatever gonna happen after the show ends. It's the song we both worked on. The one I recorded while we were hanging together.

She doesn't know I released The demo this morning before the show just so I could be able to do this. I could see that Heather had told everyone about my plan. Aaron put his arms around Hannah as they stood to the side just vibing to the song and watching. I noticed that the hoodie she is wearing is big on her and it doesn't like one of mine. So I assume it's Aaron's hoodie. That way if someone was able to photograph what I'm able to do Hannah would be considered Aaron's girlfriend and not someone I know. Another thing I forgot to mention is that the stage has a step that is an inch or two higher than the ground where they are standing. I got close to Jack and Elsa First so they could sing the chorus with me, and then I moved to Heather and Dagur.

As the Bridge started I went to Astrid and bent down that way our faces were directly in front of each

other. The only thing preventing my lips from smacking onto hers right now is the mic. She made eye contact with me as we were singing the bridge of the song. Her smile in that moment was as big as the sun, it even was shining as bright as stars. Heck, that smile alone could give them a run for their money and I am ready to give everything I own just to stay in this moment forever. her hands are on mine, our eyes not leaving the other as I tuck her hair behind her ear. and Fuck if it wasn't for the

thousands of people around us then I would have kissed her right then and there.

hastily I pulled away to perform the last song of the night and close the show. "wow guys that was an amazing night" I said as the crowd erupted in cheers. Hannah had motioned for them to leave for backstage"I had so much fun with you all and I Can't wait for the rest of the nights with you Las Vegas." with that I left the stage.

"Brother that was amazing" I heard Dagur Say as I entered the backstage. "Thanks, Dagur," I say as someone hands me an Oxygen mask. "Awesome show," Elsa said as Jack nodded beside her giving me a chef kiss. everyone chatted a bit before Dagger Said "OK it's getting late and we better leave to

catch the flight" he motioned to Hannah and Aaron, which made Hannah give him a look as she asked "Are you coming with us" he smiled saying "well we are going to the same place after all." Heather hugged her brother and Then said her goodbyes to everybody before she left with Fishlegs. Soon everyone left and it was only me and Astrid left.

"Hey Astrid could we talk please" I said pleading before she too left. "you get two minutes to explain" I nodded and started speaking quickly. "I wanted to tell you but I was afraid of what you would do especially since you met Hannah. My experience with being popular and knowing who my sister was wasn't by all means pleasant. Except for them, no one knows that I and Hannah are even related. But then we got closer to each other and I was afraid that you would get mad at me and I won't get to do what I just did." I couldn't look at her. I looked everywhere but her. I was ready for her shouting at me or punching me. I was prepared for anything and everything except This. She laughed. She fucking laughed. and I Just stood there perplexed not knowing what to do. I stood there like an idiot while she laughed like there was no tomorrow. "I already knew you idiot' She said as she stopped laughing. "wait what," I said really confused. "Yeah, Hannah slipped up and told me everything." She giggled at whatever expression I was making. "So you knew everything and did not mention anything" I asked. "yeah I wanted to see how long it would take for you to tell me" She kissed me on the cheek before saying "Thank you for what you did tonight I loved it. I will wait for you outside" and then she left me frozen in my place. I put my hand on where she kissed me. Heat rushed to my check. I'm sure I looked ridiculous right now but I did not care my heart had skyrocketed through the roof and it had nothing to do with what I was doing for three hours and everything to do with a 5'6 blonde hair and blue eyes Valkyrie who left the room a minute age.

"I'm in trouble" I mutter as a smile breaks to my face.
