12 ~ 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬

The month March meant two birthdays, first it was Remus' birthday the 10th and then it was James' birthday the 27th.

Ottilia had asked both Remus and James what they wanted for their birthdays and Remus had said David Bowie records, chocolate and books.

James had told Ottilia that he didn't know, but the Marauders had already planned a gift for James. They had planned on buying James the latest and fastest broom that was on the market. It costed around 200 galleons. The four friends had agreed on paying 50 galleons each. Ottilia had also planned on buying some candy for James.

The morning of the 10th of March, James, Sirius, Ottilia and Peter woke Remus up around seven o'clock. It was a Thursday and they were going to have the party tonight, even though it was school night.

"Happy birthday to you," They all finished singing the song for Remus and they handed over their gifts.

"How does it feel to be of age now?" Ottilia asked Remus.

"Doesn't feel any different from yesterday," Remus yawned, he was tired since it was a few days after the full moon.

"Well Moony, you can now legally use magic outside of school," Sirius told him.

"I want to turn seventeen now so I can use magic outside of school," Ottilia said, she had used it outside of school once and she had received a letter with a warning. She loved using magic and sometimes she didn't think of that she wasn't allowed.

"You'll turn seventeen in two months," James told her.

Remus started to open his presents and he thanked them all and they went down to breakfast.

Ottilia had Astronomy, ancient runes, transfigurations and dada in the schedule today and she just wanted her classes to be over so she could get ready for the party and they could start the party.

The classes seemed to never end and Ottilia wanted to leave. It was boring and she wanted to celebrate her friend's seventeenth birthday. Finally the classes ended and she could walk towards the gryffindor common room.

When she reached the common room she started to decorate the common room for the party and Remus wanted to help since he wanted his party as he wanted. When they had finished all the decorations Ottilia went to get ready.

Ottilia loved fashion and clothes and she loved dressing up for parties. Today she had chosen a black jeans skirt and a red top with lace details. She looked herself in the mirror and she thought her outfit was pretty.

She walked down to the party with Mary and Marlene. Lily didn't want to party, since it was a school night, but she had congratulated Remus and given him a gift.

The party was fun and they had a great time together and they laughed so much. Something happened that Ottilia definitely wasn't meant to see, but when she was going to get butter beer for Mary and her, she saw how Sirius and Remus kissed while they were hiding in a corner. She decided to pretend that she never saw it and she didn't bring it up the next day.

About two and a half weeks passed and it was time for the next birthday, James, birthday. The day was kinda similar to Remus' birthday, but it was on a Sunday and James could celebrate his birthday all day without classes.

The evening before they had James birthday party and they had a lot of fun. They had been playing music and danced a lot. The cake was literally one of the best the house elves in the kitchen ever had made.

The problem though was that the next morning in James' actual birthday, they woke up with a hungover. They woke up James at ten o'clock since they all were so tired from the party last night. They sang 'Happy birthday' for him and he smiled.
