11 - 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞'𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬

A week passed and it was Friday evening in the great hall. Everyone in the school sat down and ate their dinner and tomorrow it was time for the first Hogsmeade trip for this term.

Many students would go on dates since it was Valentine's Day on Monday, but they wouldn't be able to go on dates in Hogsmeade on Monday. Ottilia had decided that she wouldn't go on any date this year. She had turned down a few students and she hoped no one took it personally.

"Lily-Flower," James called out for Lily and she looked at him. "Do you wanna go on a date in Hogsmeade tomorrow?"

"Piss off Potter," Lily groaned. "Leave me alone for once, please."

"Fine," James said.

The only marauder that would go on a date tomorrow was Peter. Who had been asked out by a sweet Hufflepuff girl named Daniella and when she asked him out he had blushed so much that he looked like a tomato.

Mary would go with a Ravenclaw boy called Justin.

Ottilia had considered to stay at the castle tomorrow to avoid all couples on dates. Hogsmeade would be full tomorrow, but the boys wanted her to come with them.

The next morning after Ottilia had eaten breakfast she got ready in her dorm. She first had no idea where she'd put her winter jacket and it took her ten minutes to find it.

When Ottilia was ready she went downstairs to meet her friends. It seemed like Peter had already left for his date.

The rest of the marauders went outside and they sat down in a carriage. The carriage started moving and they arrived in Hogsmeade a moment later.

They left the carriage when they arrived in Hogsmeade and they started walking to Zonko's. Remus and Sirius walked in front of James and Ottilia. Suddenly Ottilia felt a hand grab her wrist.

"What?" Ottilia asked James.

"Don't act like you don't see it too," James whispered as he nodded at Sirius and Remus. "They're like made for each other."

"I know, I've noticed that for a while," Ottilia whispered back. "Why're you talking about that now?"

"Because we celebrate Valentine's Day this weekend and we should help them out," James whispered.

"How exactly?" Ottilia asked quietly as they entered Zonko's.

"You know how we all four planned on taking a butter beer later this afternoon?" James said with a low voice.

"Yeah," Ottilia said.

"We'll leave them," James told her.

"That's rude and they'll wonder," Ottilia told him.

"Well, I'll tell them that I'll go to the bathroom and you can act like you've seen Marlene and Lily," James said. "Tell them that you'll go talk to Lily and Marlene, but of course they aren't there and we'll meet outside of the three broomsticks and spy on them."

"We can try, but I doubt if it'll actually work," Ottilia whispered to him. They needed to keep their voices low since Remus and Sirius were kinda close.

"You'll see that it'll work," James smiled.

They walked around in Zonko's for a while and they bought some Dungbombs for future pranks.

Then they walked to Honeydukes for buying candy. Ottilia bought some chocolate frogs and Fizzing Whizzbees.

When they were done at Honeydukes they went to the three broomsticks and ordered butter beer. They sat down at a table and they started talking. Ottilia sipped on her butter beer and suddenly James who sat in front of her kicked her leg.
