𝐃𝐀𝐊𝐎𝐓𝐀 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐇𝐄𝐑 father's footsteps before she could even see the man. She, Allison and Lydia were in Allison's room while the eldest girl put on her gloves.

"Headed out?" Their dad spoke as he walked his way into the room, leaning on the wall as his eyes cast over the three of them.

"Going to Lydia's. She said her dog misses me," Dakota spoke, glancing over to Lydia who let a grin rise on her red lips.

"Exactly. Your daughter really has a way of pushing herself into a dog's heart," Lydia shrugged, her attention being turned back onto her phone as she opened her camera app.

Their dad just motioned with his head for the two to come closer, making Allison sigh as she pulled on her glove before walking over, "I swear we're just going to Lydia's."

"I get it. But we need to remember what happened," He swung his arm over Allison's shoulder to keep her close, keeping his voice low so the strawberry blonde didn't hear a word.

"So you want us to stop being friends with her?" The look on Dakota's face said it all. There was no way in hell she would do that and an even lesser chance of Allison doing so, too.

"Actually, we want the opposite. I know how this might sound, but we need you to keep an eye on her," Their dad waved his hand around a little while he explained.

"You mean spy on her?" Allison scoffed, giving her dad a look.

"We want you to look out for your friend," He said, his voice going a little softer as he looked into Allison's eyes. He wanted her to know (or at least think) he was sincere. "To make sure everything's okay with her."

Dakota let her eyes travel over to the strawberry blonde who sat in a chair across the room. She was moving in every direction to get a good selfie angle. It made Dakota smile when she saw Lydia's face light up when she got the perfect picture.

"She seems fine to me."

Lydia drove them to the ice rink. It was her, Allison and Dakota meeting Scott and Stiles there. At first it was just Scott and Dakota but then she had suggested bringing the girls and Stiles along. The only problem with there being five of them was that Allison wasn't paired up with anyone. Stiles was going to hog Lydia and the couple were obviously going to skate around on their own. If Scott could remember how.

The three girls walked through the doors after the boys, Scott being quick to put his arm around Dakota's waist when he noticed her walk up. He leant over and placed a kiss on her cheek while they went to find the perfect skates.

"This reminds me of one of our dates," Dakota spoke, slipping her foot into the skate with ease, quickly tightening the lace and securing herself.

"When we ditched your sister and best friend?" Scott laughed, looking behind him to see Stiles and Lydia sitting and doing up their own skates.

"Yeah. ..," Dakota shrugged, fixing up her other skate before planting both feet on the ground. "It's probably one of my favourite memories with you."

"Really?" Scott beamed, his eyes practically shining when he remembered back to that night. It seemed like ages ago when they first started dating. Now they're running around behind their parents' backs. "I mean, my favorite is probably when we went on that walk in the woods on your birthday. You loved it out there."
