Today's the day I started Miami Dade High. Yesterday I collected my stuff and at the end of the day Jaz and I started to crying so hard. Even though I still lived at the same place we both knew things wouldn't be the same.

So I was on the bus sitting next to my dad. It was only a 15 minute ride to Miami Dade. I had a lot of what ifs in my head. Some about school, others about Mistermusic since he did live there. Before I knew it I was in front of Miami Dade High. It was a small school. There were kids standing and relaxing around the courtyard. They all looked so posh and snobby. I guess they were, considering a lot of rich kids go to this school.

"You sure you don't need me to go in there with you?" My dad asked.

"Yes I'm sure. I'll be fine, just go to work dad." I replied.

"Okay sweetheart, have a good day. And remember: change is good."

"I know, bye dad. Love you" I said as I gave him a hug.

"Love you too."

He then starting walking since his job was only 10 minutes away by walk.

I took a deep breath and started walking inside so I could go to the main office.

As I was walking, I saw a lot of girls wearing designer clothes; have purses as backpacks; and they were staring at me. I guess it was cause I was new and I didn't look at least one bit like them. I was wearing my black batman tshirt, light wash skinny jeans, my black converses, and carrying my Jansport backpack. Along with my glasses of course since I couldn't get my contacts for another week or so.

I went to open the school door and found out it was lock.

"Can't go in until the bell rings, babe." a voice said.

I was looking around to find out who said that until I saw a tall looking guy with ruffled black hair that was in a beanie looking back at me. He was wearing dark blue skinny jeans, black toms, a black beanie, a blue zip up hoodie, and of course a batman shirt...

He started walking towards me.

"Oh my gosh, what am suppose to do?! I never talked to a guy except for Mistermusic! Well, I never talked to a guy in person!" I thought.

"Nice shirt, looks like we're matching today." he smirked.

"Okay, play it cool, Bella. Just pretend you're one of those cool girls you see in those chick flicks!" I thought.

"Um yeah, but you could've been matching with anyone today." I smirked back.

"Yeah true, but you were the first one I saw that was matching with me today so I guess it was fate. I'm Kyle by the way."

By his personality, I knew he was going to be trouble but by his looks I wouldn't mind being with him at all!

"Arabella." I simply said looking like I didn't care.

"Hot name for a hot girl." he smirked.

I started to blush. Then suddenly the bell rang. The doors unlocked and everybody started walking towards it.

"Well I guess I'll see you around." I said as I started walking away.

"Don't worry Arabella, you will." Kyle winked at me and left to meet his friends.

I got into the school and looked for the main office. After a good 5 minutes, I finally found it. When I got in I saw a lady sitting behind a desk, about in her early 40s, on the phone.

"Okay sweetie I gotta go, love you bye!" She said then she hung up.

"Hi, how can I help you?" the lady said.
