Micahs pov:
I storm over to Jaydens table, my fists clenched so tight that my knuckles were turning white. I was absolutely furious about what Jayden had just said and done to Skylar, and I was going to make him regret it. Once I reach his table, I hear all of his friends laughter suddenly stop, and I see them all turn my way. Jayden frowns, and his gaze turns cold as soon as he sees me. He was the first one of us to speak up, and he spoke in a very angry and cold tone of voice. "What the fuck do you want?" He spits out angrily. I was so angry that I could hardly even control myself, but I was doing what I could.
I respond to his cold words with "I'm here to teach you a lesson. Do you really think that what you just did to Skylar is okay?" I say, my voice just ad cold and angry as his was. Jayden just coldly laughs and says, "Of course it was okay. She's a little bitch. She had it coming" he says harshly. That was the last straw. I snap slightly and lean forward, grabbing the collar of his shirt tightly and I say "she's a bitch now huh? And what the hell did she ever do to you to make you think that?" I say, my voice firm and accusatory as my eyes bore into his, glaring at him angrily.
He takes a few seconds to respond before ultimately saying "ohhh you haven't heard the rumors have you?" He says, his voice still cold, but a smug smirk grows on his stupid face. A frown grows on my lips. I hadn't been to this school in two years. I just got back today...of course, I didn't know what rumors he was talking about. My grip tightens on his collar, clenching it tightly as I pull him closer to my face. My teeth clenched angrily as I said, "What rumors?" In a harsh and angry voice, clearly losing my patience and my temper.
Once again, he takes a few seconds to respond, but his stupid smirk only grows larger, which only causes my anger to grow. God, I wanted to punch the smug smirk right off his ugly face. He finally responds after what feels like an eternity, and he says, "Well...rumor has it that Skylar girl has been having a little affair with your best friend Blake while you've been away" he says in an almost taunting tone of voice.
Was he serious? Did Skylar seriously do that? Well...he said a rumor, so who knew if it was actually real, right? Multiple thoughts begin to race through my mind, but I push them all out and defend Skylar. I laugh mockingly and say "yea right! Skylar would never do anything like that!" I snaps, and his voice begins to raise as I hold the collar of his plain white t-shirt even tighter, and I pull him closer to me, waiting for his response.
He just laughs and says, "You've been gone for years. How would you know? She's always been a slut we all knew it" he says in a harsh tone as he continues to laugh but his words really piss me off. I take his collar and pull him closer to me quickly before pushing him backward and letting go of his shirt, sending him falling backward onto his ass and I could hear the entire cafeteria filled with students erupt in laughter. But Jayden didn't think it was funny at all.
He quickly stands up and begins to walk towards me, his hands clenched into fists so tightly that his knuckles turn white as he yells, "You're gonna regret that!" But I just laugh and say,"yea? Am i?" In a slightly cocky tone as I prepare myself for his attack and clench my fists, never taking my eyes off of his...
