I have a story to share, young one. This is the story of the "Spirit Goddess". She has roamed the world for thousands of years, the appearance of a 24-year old woman.
The story starts with a beautiful cherry blossom tree. Blossoms fell through the air balancing along the wind. There a young woman sat, waiting and waiting.
The person she was waiting for was her lover. He had promised to meet her under the cherry blossoms to run away together. His family did not approve of the relationship as the woman was of lower class.
It was a forbidden love between man and woman. She sat reading her book about the "Journey to the West". The time seemed to pass, quickly.
"Hanako-kun, where are you?" She requested, worried. Night had fallen shortly, after. The woman still waited for her lover.
"M-maybe, I should see him at his residence." The woman murmured. She started her trek down the hill. Suddenly, a noise came from behind her.
She thought, it was her Hanako. "Hanako-kun, are you there? I've been worried about you." She responded. Then, a man with a fox mask appeared.
Fear was written all over her face. The girl tried to scream for her lover, but it was too late. The man with the fox mask stabbed her straight through the heart.
"I'm sorry, Akira. I love you." The man said. She recognized his voice. It was her sweet Hanako-kun. 'How could he do this to me?' She thought.
'W-why?'
'I loved you, Hanako-kun.'
'Please, I just wanted to be loved.'
