Macaque sat of the edge of a building, waiting for his monstrous creation to get some attention. In the sky, a purple ghost monkey terrorized the city. He was hoping to meet the infamous, monkie kid.
"This sucks, ass." Macaque sneered. The famous monkie kid hadn't shown up, yet. Until, he turned to face the sky. A flying bunny spirit flew straight into his face.
"Damn it! What the hell are you doing here." Macaque yelled. He didn't have time to mess around with this tiny spirit. The spirit cuddled against his face. Macaque blushed a bit.
"Aww. I missed that cute face." A woman's voice spoke.
Macaque's eyes widened at the sudden voice. It was Tachibana Akira. The monkey bared his teeth in fustration at the woman. "I thought, I told you, damn woman to leave me alone. I'm not ready to move on, yet." Macaque growled.
Akira laughed at the Sun Wukong look alike. "You should be happy to see your gaurdian spirit. It has been awhile." She said, happily.
Akira and Macaque had a difficult relationship. They hadn't seen each other in a year, since MK became Sun Wukong's successor. Akira had been busy with the spirit realm.
"Like I'd be happy to see evil woman. How did you find me? Wukong didn't tell you, did he?" Macaque sneered. Akira's admired the ghost like creature in the sky.
"Hmm. The spirits were telling me about a key. I thought, you might know something of it." Akira said. Her eyes became serious at the word, 'key'. She emphasized it.
"What damn nonsense are you on about, woman?" Macaque questioned. Akira remained silent at his question. 'He must not know about it.' She thought. The two sat in silence for awhile.
Macaque wouldn't admit it, but he secretly enjoyed the goddess's company. It was nice having someone there beside him, someone that hadn't already abandon him. Someone who saw him as 'normal'.
"I missed your company, old friend. It has been quite lonely, without you and Sun." Akira smiled. Macaque growled at the mention of his enemy.
"To hell with that, arrogant asshole. He'll just throw you away like trash in the end, Akira. Why the hell do you still consider him, a friend?" Macaque said, fustrated.
"Because..."
Akira stared with sparkles in her eyes. A small breeze blew through her air. In that moment, Macaque realized just how beautiful the goddess was. He blushed, slightly.
"He saved me from my own loneliness." She smiled.
