Talk

Father lucas is tapping his table, he is currently in his office waiting for lianna to come here to discuss something about their trip to the orphanage next week. Today is june 25, 2024.

"Father Lucas good morning." Lianna said shyly as she bows, she is feeling very uncomfortable since its only the two of them inside the room.

"Goodmorning lianna, have a sit." I said to her, i hid a small smile as i noticed that she is avoiding my gaze towards her as she sits.

"Bakit niyo po ako pinatawag father?" Lianna said, i think this is about the orphanage trip nextweek. Nakakailang lang dahil kaming dalawa lang dito tapos ganito pa makatitig si father.

"About sa orphanage next week, the orphanage is lack of rooms since Msgnr. Olivar is coming with us also two of your professor." Lucas firmly said to lianna, looking at lianna it seems that she is very shocked about the news.

"Pwede po akong matulog sa sahig or pwede rin po hindi nalang ako sasama." Lianna suggested, para naman ma lessen ang problem na ini intindi nila father.

"N..no, we made a plan that professor jean and professor margaret will be sleeping with the other interns which is sila marian, then Msgnr. Olivar can occupy the other room where professor margaret sleep last time, when she was here with us, and you since the room is only good for 5 people you will be sleeping beside me..."I explain the plan. Her eyes went big after she heard my last sentence. To be honest i am also nervous i know this is not the first time she will be sleeping beside me but now feels different than last time.

You know my feelings for her grew each day we are together, everytime we spent time to each other like talking.

"Okay father i am okay with that plan." Lianna agreed to the plan even though she is uncomfortable in sleeping beside father lucas.

Hiding my feelings for father lucas is not easy especially that we are together everyday.

"You may go now." Lucas said to lianna, she was still waiting for me to tell her that i guess.

When i got out of father lucas office sakto rin na papunta sa loob si father skyler.

"Oh lianna sinabihan kana ba ni father lucas sa plano?" Usyosong tanong ni father skyler. Medyo usyoso ako sa tono nang pagkakasalita ko.

"Ah oo po father." Sagot ko naman, okay naman sakin pero hindi talaga akong comfortable dahil nga lumalaki na yung pagkakagusto ko kay father tsaka alam ko na kasalanan iyon.

"Sige una na ako ha." Father skyler answered, bago ako pumasoi sa office ni father lucas.

Medyo excited rin naman ako dahil nga makikita ko ang mga nakaibigan kung sakristan, lectors, Le minister, sister, tapos yung mga bata.

Lucas was in a deep thought when father skyler entered.

"Father Lucas." Father skyler said, as i entered the office of father lucas i saw him in a deep thought.

"Father nandiyan ka pala." Father Lucas said in shocked, I was shocked of father skylers presence since i was in a deep thought when he enterend.

Lately this days my love for lianna is different from before i feel jealous when some boys would flirt on her.

"I have something to discuss with you." Father skyler seriously said, i just said this to make lucas nervous.

"What is that father?" Father Lycas said, he was quite nervous but he remain to have a calm and poker face.

"The archdiocese has announce that some of the parish priest of cebu will be going to attend a 'Marian Pilgrimage' on august." Skyler informed lucas, so he can ready he's things.

"Is that so father, who was the chosen one to attend the pilgrimage?" I asked on father skyler, His statement sound like i am the chosen one.

"You father, pagkabalik natin galing sa orphanage ay flight muna agad kinabukasan father lucas." Father slyler explained to lucas, based on lucas expression he can see that he is shock.

"I...ilang araw ang pilgrimage?" Father Lucas said, I was not in a right mind now, my mind is full of question.

"Not days lucas, weeks... you'll be staying there for 3 weeks and 3 days." Father skyler said, he hope that he made the right choice.

"Is that so..." Father lucas said sadly, 3 weeks and 3 days those days would be lonely since he is away from lianna

They are now back in the basilica from the orphanage. Tomorrow is lucas flight to europe.
The trip would consist four country to travel, italy, france, spain and portugal before they go home.

It is currently 3a.m papunta na siyang airport. He is with father skyler and father orion. Father vincent is in the convent since the girls is still sleeping. They didn't know that i was the one who is chosen for the Marian Pilgrimage.

Magkakasama na kaming mga pari na kasali sa marian pilgrimage.

"Take care lucas." Father skyler said, we are now in the airport

"We will take care of your duties until you comeback lucas." Father orion said, he was sad because father lucas is like a brother to him not only in the ministry but a real brother.

After the goodbye lucas and the other priest went inside the airport. After passing the immigration he is now inside the plane.

He is praying for a safe trip. Before, boarding he was able to take a picture for him to post on his social media.

They just landed here in italy, they would go to their hotel to check in and place their luggage there.

Lucas is thinking of lianna, after placing their bag in their hotel room they are going to the restaurant to eat...

Father Lucas and Father Yan is in the same room. The room is double bed.

They are now back after eating and strolling around.

"Father lucas." Father yan called, they were not talking since they didn't much know each other perhaps i am willing to know father lucas.

"Yes father yan?" Father lucas answered. He confused on why father yan called him.

"You are the youngest priest in the basilica right." Father yan asked. He knew that this is the inly way to start their converstaion together. He had heard alot about father lucas and his good perfomance.

"Ahm yes father." Father lucas just answered casual. He just feel a bit of awkwardness.

"I have heard a lot about your performance." Father yan stated, father lucas is famous in their parish.

"I hope its all good." Father lucas jokingly said. But he hope so.

"I can assure you brother its all good." Father yan asnwered. It is true.

After some conversation they went to sleep as they are going to stroll on padre pio's church and where the pope is.
