                                   Anniversary

Father Skyler

The whole church member today preparing for the celebration of Fr. Lucas 21st sacerdotal anniversary.

It is also a big day for us because lianna will be back here after a week of vacation, hoping that lianna enjoyed her vacation and she regain her energy.

father lucas said that he saw lianna and casey at the mall yesterday, it looks like they are going to the department store.

Father skyler, they are here!" the altar sever said.

Where?" I ask

Andun sa parking father." The altar server said

I was about to run when lianna appeared infront of me.

Goodmorning father." She said

Iha im glad that you are back now in the convent." I said

Oh father its nice to be back here." She said

Wheres father lucas father?" She ask

Nasa may bungalow cottage iha." I replied

We are now at the bungalow cottage now and i can see that father lucas was stunned upon seeing lianna.

lianna quickly approached him.

Happy Sacerdotal Anniversary Father Lucas." She said and hugged father lucas.

Father Lucas Connor

I was stunned upon seeing lianna at father skylers back, she quickly approached and hugged me.

Happy Sacerdotal Anniversary Father Lucas." she happily greeted me. I was at joy because she is here and she didn't ignore me.

No one can replace the joy i feel now. It took me a minute to reply to her because of what i was feeling.

Thank you lianna my darling." I replied to her.

I know she was stunned by that moment.

After our hugged she smiled.
But i must ask her why did she do part time during here vacation. She then walked to line up since father skyler will give them some instructions

"Father Lucas we should get ready the time of the mass is nearing." father skyler said

Then father skyler face the girls to give some instructions.

"Lianna you will be reading the 2nd reading." father skyler said

"And you casey will be reading the 1st reading"Father skyler said to casey

"Marian you will be the responsorial psalm."

"Eilline you will be the cantor."He continue

"And lastly mariel you will be reading the sponsors/donations."Father skyler said

"And lianna you will be the one bringing the Bible." Father skyler added

Father vincent, Msgnr. Daniel, Father orion are done changing their sutana or vestments. Their are also visiting priest to celebrate my sacerdotal.

Me and father skyler went inside the convent to change. While the girls are getting ready to be the lectors in the mass. After a few minutes we are done and  gathered at the entrance to start the entrance procession.

As we slowly walk to the altar. I feel so blessed cause not all seminaries continue their path to priesthood. We already reach the altar and started the mass.

"My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Today, as we celebrate my 21st Sacerdotal Anniversary, I am humbled and grateful be standing here before you all. As a priest of the church. I dedicated my
life in serving the community and spreading the message of love and home that transform lives." I said , the mass has continued

"A reading from the holy gospel according to John." I said

"Glory to you, Lord." The responses

Homily

"In this passage, Jesus refers Himseld as the Good Shepherd who lays down to his sheep. He contrasts Himself mercenary hired hand who would abandon the sheep when faced with danger." I said in my homily

"This passage brings before the image of jesus as the Good Shepherd who lays down his life for his sheep. As we celebrate my 21st sacerdotal anniversary, I am reminded of the many sacrifices that priest make in order to serve flock to GOD."  I continue my sermons

"Like jesus, priests are called to lay down their lives for their sheep. to guide and protect them, and lead them to pastures of heaven... Jesus contrast himself with mercenary hired hand, who was not willing to lay down his life for the sheep. Similarly, priests are called selfless servants, and not overly concerned with themselves. Instead their main concern should be the welfare of their flock. Priests must remember  that their primary vocation is to be shepherds of soul, and to lead their flock to eternal  communion with GOD." I preach my sermons to them.

"As we celebrate my 21st sacerdotal anniversary, I am reminded of great responsibility that is placed upon me to serve and guide my flock, as jesus guides his flock... Good shepherd reminds me of the great responsibility that is place on me as a spiritual leader of the community. May i continue to be faithful shepherd and lays down my life for my flock. And may i always guide them to the ultimate pasture of Heaven. Amen." I ended my sermons and i could see the amusement of the congregation.

After the mass it is now lunch time.

"Father lucas your sermons are great and a life lesson." My fellow priest complimented

"Thank you." I replied

"No wonder you are assigned here in the basilica." He also added

I just smiled for a reply

After eating some priest already bid their goodbye to go back to their parish. Some priest also are staying until afternoon.

Marian Lianna Miller

After eating we are here at the convents rooftop.

"Lianna look." Mariel said she then pointed a plane

"Hahaha, Ladies and Gentlemen this is you captain speaking." I said

"My jake." Eilline said

"Lets ask permission to father skyler to play a music in the speaker." Sabi ni casey

"Dapat mahina lang tsaka yung speaker ko yung gamitin dito lang sa taas tayo ha." I said

"Sige, tara eilline magpaalam na tayo." Marian said and eilline knodded.

Kami lang nila Mariel at Casey ang nandito sa rooftop. Nag iintay kami sa pagbalik nila marian. Medyo hapon na rin.

"Pwede daw guys."Marian shouted

"Eto na yung speaker connect na natin."Sabi ni casey

Then the song bitterflies by denise julia played.
While the sing is playing we were talking about our life.

When Fr.vincent interrupt....

"I am sorry to interrupt but we need your help downstairs." Father vincent said

"We need you to clean up the tables." He said

"Okay father." We agreed

We turn off the speakers and went downstairs to clean up so we can have a rest.
