"Who are you?"  Said the younger boy staring down the younger girl intensely.

"Also are you okay? That scratch looks pretty bad if you ask me." he said before kneeling down to reach the younger girls level.

"Leave me alone princess, I can handle it just fine! I don't need your pity! Much less anyone's help!" She said angrily, as tear stains were evident on her small delicate face, with her sitting down on the rocks near the river where both of them snuck out to.

The young boy then gave her an emotionless stare as he then sighed before speaking up.

"I think I have a bandaid somewhere in my pocket give me a second, crybaby."

Said the young boy already fed up with her attitude as he dug into his pockets in search of a bandaid.

"Crybaby?!? Who are you calling a crybaby dummy!!"

"You idiot! You have a scratch on your knee and if you don't clean it, it'll get infected and then you'll die!"

"Wait what!?! Really!?! I don't wanna die!!"

"Hey princess, if I were to propose to you when we're older would you accept? Because I swear I'll marry you one day!!"

Said the young girl holding onto the younger boys hand, as she held up her small pinky towards him as if she was pinky promising.

"Didn't I tell you to stop calling me princess?! You crybaby! Also it's  stupid nickname I'm not a princess! But!! I'll only marry you ifffff..! You agree to give me all your candy!"

Said the young boy cheekily smiling at her while pointing to the said candy bag in the younger girls hands.

"What??! No! not my candy! I'll give you anything BUT my candy."

She said pouting as she let go of his hand and holding her candy closer, the hand that had originally been up for a pinky promise now on her candy bag. hugging it for extra protection.

"Hmph. Find then I'm not marrying you!"
Said the young chigiri facing his back towards her. "I'll just marry someone else instead!"

"Whaatt??! You can't do that!" She said as tears started forming "I won't- I won't ever give you candy anymore!" Said the young Y/N as she started to suddenly cry while holding onto the younger chigiri

"Geez! Stop crying I was only joking, come here you crybaby!"  He said as he held her tiny figure while patting her head softly
"You really are such a hassle! But..Fine! if it makes you happy I'll marry you... BUT only when we're older!"

"You really mean it chigiri?!"

"Yeah if it'll make you feel better.. but I'm only agreeing because you're crying! It's not like I wanna marry you..!"

"Hey chigiri? Do you think we'll end up getting married like how you promised when we were kids?"
She said as they were sitting under a cherry tree, as they were on lunch break. By this time they were already in elementary school

"Hmmmm, I don't know I wouldn't wanna get married to an idiot, much less an idiot who's a crybaby."  He said gently flicking her forehead, joking around with her.

" OWW!- Hey! I'm not a crybaby! And idiot!??! Who do you think you're calling idiot, idiot! I'll have you know I have the top grades in school right now! But you wouldn't know that since you're too busy with soccer!" She said glaring at him.

"I always go to your soccer games! But when it comes to my contest's and ceremony's you're never there!!" She says sighing in his direction while her head's down looking at the soft grass.

"Ah.. I guess YOU do have a point. but your contest's are so boring! And your ceremony's just you getting a trophy every time, if you ask me I'd rather sleep in." He says taking a bite out of his sandwich that he had gotten for lunch.

"That's harsh! but I'll let it go since it's you. Also! I'd at least want you to come once.. you're the only person Id really want praise from.." she says mumbling while pouting angrily.

"I know I know, I'll try to come to one of them at least. Alright? I pinky promise"  he said while gently ruffling her hair with a smile plastered on his face.

"You better!" She says taking his pinky in with her's while smiling widely.

"Hey, Y/N? We should break up. It'll be better for both of us this way. I can't keep looking after you as if your some child. I also have goals I want to accomplish, and it might sound harsh but you're getting in the way of them."
