"Hey, Y/N? We should break up. It'll be better for both of us this way. I can't keep looking after you as if your some child. I also have goals I want to accomplish, and it might sound harsh but you're getting in the way of them."

"What? Look chigiri I know I was annoying you yesterday but that's not a funny joke also that is harsh! You can't just say that to your girlfriend!"

She says nudging him with her elbow. Thinking he was simply joking around as always while, wholeheartedly smiling. he had mysteriously called her out to meet at the river at midnight just to prank her? Atleast that's what she thought.

"Y/N, I'm not joking."
He says staring at the girl infront of him. With Her being completely clueless and unaware of what he was trying to say.

"Yeah yeah! I know you're 'not joking' now seriously what's the real reason you called me out here? It's freezing ya-know? Oh! Yeah I also bought us tickets to the new arcade that opened I know how much you love them."

She said trying to thin out the tension in the air as she smiled naively being blind to what was about to happen.

"Y/N I'm being serious. Please don't take this as if it's a joke. You know I wouldn't joke about stuff like this."

Said the boy as he stared at the girl in-front of him sorrowfully, he thought breaking up with her in person would've been the better option, but oh how he was wrong.

"Haha. Very funny chigiri. It's wrong to joke about this so I'd like it if you'd stop, plus we were supposed to go on a date tomorrow I'd like it if we didn't get into a fight the day before"

She says sighing as she crossed her arms staring at him softly. trying to understand why he'd be saying all of this all of the sudden, it was more like she didn't want to believe the words that came out of his mouth.

"Y/N!"

He says slightly shouting, causing the girl to stiffen at the sudden loud boise coming from him.

"Y/n please, don't make this any harder than it has to be this decision was already hard as it is, please don't take this lightly and understand where I'm coming from!"

"I.. I don't understand? Chigiri you have to be joking right? We've been together for 2 years even more before we got together since we've been friends for quite some time, If you don't like something about me or if it was anything I did tell me right now instead of breaking up. come on this is low even for you!"

She says as tears started to form in her eyes.
She wanted to understand why he suddenly wanted to break up they've been together for quite some time and now he wanted to just drop it all?

"I'm not doing this because I want you to change Y/N, I'm doing this because it was a mistake getting together. we should have never met in the first place, I'm doing this for your own good! you and I have different goals we want to accomplish we'll just be burdens to each other!"

Her eyes widened upon hearing his statement, 'it was a mistake getting together'? 'We should have never met in the first place'? She felt her heart shatter at the moment he uttered those words completely forgetting everything at that moment, before she realized it she had completely clung onto him the moment he tried to turn around and leave.
 
"Please say you're joking! Look I'll do whatever you want! I'll even buy you whatever you want! You want me to change for you? I'll change! just please don't say that! Don't say it was a mistake meeting each other or getting together, look I know I've been careless and reckless and a hassle or even more! But please! I'll make it up to you somehow just don't leave!"

Said the poor girl clinging onto him like he was her lifeline, that boy was more than special to her, he was her everything, her whole world even. Without him she would feel as if nothing mattered anymore, without him. She wouldn't have a reason to live again.

"Please forgive just this once, I hope you meet someone far more better than me, you deserve so much more. I'm sorry I couldn't be that for you. I wish you the best."

He said as tears would immediately fall from his face. He wanted to say he was joking. He wanted to comfort her, and say he'd be there for her. He had even  planned for a whole future with her. but alas that had to end today due to him being and idiot.

"Chigiri please think this over, it doesn't have to end like this we can work things out!"

She says clinging onto him tighter not wanting to let him go because if she did. She wouldn't talk to him ever again or simply, be with him again.

He was able to free himself from the girls grasp, his heart aching upon seeing her in such a distraught state, as he ultimately thought that I'd be best to leave her to have some time for herself

"Chigiri don't leave.."
She said as she sunk onto the grass near the river as he had left the scene with her crying out for him. Only for her to wallow in pain and despair upon seeing him one last time but this time had had left. For good orThat's what she thinks atleast.
