Chapter 29 (Rush)

(Readers POV)

Me and Silver are going through a forest. I'm pretty sure Tails's Workshop is this way. I really want to meet up with Sonia quickly so these chili dogs don't get cold.

Silver: (Y/N)?

I looked over at Silver.

Silver: Are these friends of yours nice?

(Y/N): Sonia and Tails? Of course they are. They've been nice to me ever since we met, so you'll be no different.

Silver: Oh, that's a relief.

(Y/N): Are you nervous to meet them?

Silver: A little bit... There isn't a lot of people around where I'm from.

(Y/N): I gotcha.

As we were going through the forest, I noticed to scraps of metal on the ground. Sonia has definitely been through here before and destroyed some robots. I noticed something shiny in the corner of my eye. I immediately turned to look and found the red Chaos Emerald on the ground. I immediately went over to grab, making Silver stop and look at me.

Silver: What are you doing?

I picked the Chaos Emerald up and showed it to Silver.

Silver: Wow, that's a pretty jewel there.

(Y/N): It's something called a Chaos Emerald.

Silver: Chaos Emerald?

(Y/N): Mhm. There are 7 in total. If you can collect them all, you can do some crazy stuff with them.

Silver: They're powerful?

(Y/N): You betcha. Here, watch this.

I've heard about Sonia and Shadow doing this stuff, so how hard can it be. I tossed the emerald up into the air and caught it.

(Y/N): Chaos Control!

I shouted and waited for something to happen.

(Y/N): ...

Silver: ...

(Y/N): ...So I can't do it.

I laughed a bit to myself. Silver just got confused.

Silver: Well if these Chaos Emeralds are powerful, then they'll definitely help us stop that monster!

(Y/N): Yeah, something like that.

Silver: We shouldn't waste more time.

Silver pointed her hand at me and aight blue aura surrounded my body. Me and Silver both floated up into the air, going above the trees.

Silver: Which way are we going?

I looked around for a quick moment before pointing in a direction. Silver started to fly in that direction and I followed closely behind her thanks to her telekinesis. Me and her are going pretty fast actually.

(Y/N): I see we are taking the direct route!

Silver: This is how I'm used to traveling.

Lucky. Though with my new shoes, I shouldn't have much room to complain.

(Sonia's POV)

I managed to meet up with Tails in the forest and got done telling her about what I learned about Eggman.

Sonia: So that's basically it. Eggman has some crazy scheme, and I saw that mysterious girl. Things are starting to get interesting, eh Tails?

Tails: Idle hands can be a dangerous thing, Sonia! This ultimate power that Eggman spoke of... I wonder what kind of power he was taking about.
