When the Sky Meets the Star

Chapter 1

The starts beautified the endless night sky. A gentle breeze flew across the leaves that made them to dance. It was calm that the buzzing of an insects could be heard. 

         There located a small hotel that was filled with the aroma of tasy sambar . It was run by a young  woman of 25 age Anuradha, who works hard in order to fulfil her basic needs. Sweet and kind inside but stern on the world around her. She was busy in cleaning the hotel as it was time to close. She was willing the tables and a drop of sweat fell from her head.

Two men entered the hotel .

"Anu... Anu.."  The man called .

It's Balu Anna, who always helps her in running the hotel and  they both share a brother sister bond.

"Ha.... Coming, Anna. " She went towards him.

Beside him stood a man with a tired face, he looks like someone who doesn't belong here. But, looks so tired and torn and from appearance it is clear that he is a rich. He is tall about 6 feet and wearing a t-shirt and a baggy jean. And he has dark curly hair that really elevates his look. His eyes were dark like the night sky.

"Anu, give him some food. " Said Balu Anna.

"Ok anna, sit here" Said her

She placed the food in front of him. His face was lightened after seeing the food. He ate the two idlis as of the most tastiest food in the world.

Balu anna started,
"Anu, he is lost. "

"Lost,( smirked) but he does looks aged ."

"No... I mean, he lost his bag. "

"I.... I...I got my bag stolen , I'm from USA."Said the man.

"But....you look like an Indian."

"My mom and dad belong here, " The man took a sip of water,

" I'm from the USA, my father runs a  business there and I have lot of cars and  a big house, which is of course bigger than this small, rustic hotel. "

   He literally speaks like a spoiled rich brat . Even though he is in a very bad yet he doesn't behave in a matured way.

Anu's face turned red ,"Then, why does this RICH man should eat in this filthy hotel. Mr. "

"It was all my fate " said with an attitude.

"Both of you just stop, " interrupted  Balu .

"Bro, you know your situation then, why are you behaving like this? "

"It was all because of this country, it was my mistake to come here. I thought the people here are lovely and helpful. But they are only
stealers. "

"Aren't there any stealers in the USA, Mr.? " Said her.

"Just calm down both of you, let me explain. "
Said Balu anna and compromised them.

"What is your name???? " Asked Anu

"Rocky ."

"Ha.. Yes, he is Rocky. He is from the foreign country. When he reached here he lost his bags that contained his passport, money, clothes and even his mobile was lost", he continued

"I saw him in the police station, they said that they'll find his thing as soon as possible. But poor him doesn't have money and a place to stay. So.."

"So.... What Balu anna?"   Asked Anu.

"We are also in need of a employ, so why don't we... "

Anu stopped him, "I wouldn't agree, anna, he cannot work here. Look at him, I will never give a job to a man with this much attitude. "

"Anu, I understand. Look at his poor face. " Saying this Balu anna nudged him and he made a sad puppy face.

She gave a deep breath and asked
"What do you know? "

Again with attitude he said
"I know everything , it's  because you're lucky that I'm going to work here. "

"Yes, let's see who is lucky then. " Said her.

"Ok Anu, I'm leaving home, can you show him his room, I'll bring you some clothes tomorrow." Saying this Balu anna left.

Anu took him to the room ,a small room with a small bed .

"Ha..... " The man was shocked.

"What, now?" Asked her.

"Where is my  MY room? "

"This is your, YOUR room, Mr. "

"I'm definitely not gonna stay here. "

"Then  you can stay in the streets, it will be more comfortable for you ." She laughed

"Are you using my situation? "

"I'm not, I giving you a job and a room with an attached bathroom. "

He went and opened the bathroom and started to faint.

She caught him and said, "Hey, ... You idiot... "

"What is this? " Asked him.

"Bathroom"

"An Indian toilet , no bathtub and no showerrrrrr. "

"Yes "

"How will I bath? "

"Open the tap and fill water in the bucket and use the mug to shower
Mr. "

"Oh God, please have mercy on me. "

"He does have, and that's why you're here. "

"Anu, I apologize for everything but please give me a better washroom atleast"

"Even if you pleaded to the core and even if I wished I couldn't, cause it's not available "

He put his face down and totally broken.

"Ok, I'll see you tomorrow, sharp at 5:30 am .
Saying this she started moving.

"Ha... 5:30...even birds wouldn't wake up at 5:30 ."

He fall on the bed and looked up at the fan and said
"Even a tortoise could win this fan's speed "

It  contained a small window. He opened it and looked at the sky. He recalled his luxurious  life in his house, where he had a huge room and a beautiful washroom with shower. There was an AC and a big bed which is of course bigger than this.
