Janet
I sprinted across the room, my feet pounding the floor with a loud thud, thud, thud. I was imagining grasping my diary from the desk and the wooden legs scraping against the floor with a faint screech.
My mind races with thoughts, I quickened my pace, my breathing rapid and shallow. I burst through the classroom door, the hinges creaking in protest, and skidded to a stop, my sneakers squeaking in the polished floor.
Panting heavily, I bent forward, My hands on my knees, My head hung low. If I had actually run in a marathon, I would have won hands down, I thought, My chest heaving.
My gaze was fixed on the floor, My eyes tracing the pattern of the tiles. Suddenly, a low, smooth voice broke the silence. "Why are you back here?" it asked.
I raised my head, My eyes locking onto Sebastian, who was leaning against the wall, His arms crossed, His eyes narrowed. His voice was like silk, smooth and effortless.
I swallowed hard, my throat dry. "I forgot something," I replied, My voice barely above a whisper.
Sebastian's eyes widened in a silent "oh" as he sauntered towards me, His hands casually tucked in his pockets.
I was taken aback by his slow, deliberate approach, wondering what prompted this unusual behavior. Was it necessary? I thought, My mind racing with possibilities.
Meanwhile a voice in Sebastian's head exclaimed! "Oh mate, she's so beautiful. she smells like vanilla mixed with minty scent," Sin, his wolf, was clearly enthralled. Sebastian, however, pushed the thought aside and fixed his gaze intently in my face.
I broke the silence, my voice firm but annoyed, "You do realize you are obstructing my view!" I glared at him, trying too convey my growing irritation.
Sebastian slowly removed his hands from his pockets, his eyes never leaving me, and replied, "I didn't realize."
I pressed in, My patience wearing thin. "Now you do, can you please excuse me? I asked, trying to sound polite despite my growing frustration. What's he feeling like? I wondered, sensing a strange tension in the air. Sebastian response caught me off guard.
"What if I don't?" he asked, a sly smile spreading across his face. I was taken aback, my mind racing to understand his intention.
Sebastian let out a deep sigh and commented. "You are sure a difficult person to crack. You can actually go again by asking me to excuse you." His voice was laced with amusement, His eyes sparkling with mischief.
I bristled at his words, my anger rising. "Are you for real? You are my med lab teacher and you are acting all nutty! move!! or I'm going to push you away!" I gave him a hard glare, my eyes flashing with irritation. The audacity to tell me shits like that, I thought, my mind racing.
Sebastian replied, with a seductive, devilish grin. "You can try," His voice was low and husky, his eyes glinting with challenge, i saw red. I pushed him away, my hands shoving against his chest.
He laughed right away, the sound deep and throaty, his eyes crinkling at the corners. What's so funny, I thought, my anger boiling over.
I had to stop in my track and look in his direction. "You're daring for someone like me, and lucky you, I like it," he said, his voice low and husky. He moved really fast, his long strides closing the distance between us.
I was shocked, my eyes widening in suprise. That was weird, I thought, my mind reeling. I opened my eyes widely and adjusted my head backward, trying to create some space between us.
He was pretty close, his face inches from mine. I could feel his warm breath on my skin, his eyes burning with intensity. "I'll see you in the lab, MATE," he whispered in my ears, His warm breath sending shivers down my spine. He flashed a charming smile and left, leaving me standing there looking dumbfounded.
