At Diagon Alley

Orion Black has strictly prohibited Sirius from meeting his blood traitor and half blood friends since he came to know about them. But despite of his status in wizarding world and his pureblood he cannot break the friendship which is meant to last life long and even continue after death of one. Friendship is the one of the only relation which is choosed by individual. It is not a selfish act it is the most pure act of love. And no power in the world is unable to break it if it is true.

Orion spotted Sirius with his other friends namely James the blood traitor , Remus the mysterious and Peter the halfblood. He was furious at the sight and dragged Sirius away from his friends. " HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE TO SAY THAT THE BLACKS CANNOT ROAM AROUND WITH THESE TYPE OF PEOPLE!!" " Dad they are my friends !! And you cannot control my life. " Snapped Sirius at his dad in front of everyone. Orion has never ever tolerated such a insult. He was boiling. " Oh I certainly can !" And he muttered something which seemed as ' imm' something to James. And suddenly Sirius said " You are right dad . I can... Can.. I can" and something happened which was not hopes by Orion his son was trying to resist imperius curse casted by him for the first time. How can a twelve year old do that. It's not possible. But yes , this was the power of friendship. And Sirius is not in gryffindor for nothing. He is extremely brave to stand against his own family, which is very difficult for someone and requires a great deal of courage and a pure friendship. But still it was not enough " I can ... can ... cannot be friends with you " said Sirius as his father tried to increase the effect. And went away with Sirius. But James was still trying to process and so were the other two boys. " What just happened?" Said Peter. " I am not sure but it can be that curse which controls your mind. Dad said that this is how Vold- I mean you know who has controlled ministry. " Replied Remus. " Yes you are right mum too mentioned it. It's that... something I don't remember . Why don't you all come to my house and we all search there. " James said. Oh my ! James Potter wants to research and find something in books . But yes Sirius is definitely his best friend of not brother. The other two nodded and left. In the commotion the boys didn't noticed the fact that they all were watched by the whole diagon alley. Including Severus, Horace even Lily and her family. However the boys left immediately to use floo network to Potter manor.

The crowd was now shrinking. " What was that dear ? " Said Mr. Evans " The four boys are the best friend and inseparable. It's just that one of them is from an ancient family who believe themselves as superior of others as they are pureblood. That was his dad but something weird happened. Sirius suddenly changed the sentence and broke the friendship." Replied the redhead daughter. " It's not weird his father used the imperius curse. It's an unforgivable curse which can control one and make them so anything even suicide. " continued Petunia. " I can imagine how the hell is he making of his son's life by breaking his friendship just because what he believes that is totally unjust. " Said Mr.Evans. " But this the truth Mr. Evans " said someone from behind them. It was Mr. McKinnon, Marlene's father. " It is the harsh reality of the wizarding world. This why the so called purebloods support the dark lord. So that they can have an all Pureblood society." Mr. Evans was in shock. Lily and Petunia have actually decided not to mention any such thing in front of their parents as they may forbid them from getting to Hogwarts. He gave a not too pleased look to them. Later that day the girls were left with no choice other than telling their father the truth although the parents were worried they reluctantly agreed especially after seeing Lily as she was not at all afraid. Of course she was a gryffindor. Petunia however was worried not about her but Lily, she herself is safe due to her lies in Hogwarts but not Lily.

At number 12 Grimauld Place.

Due to the curse Sirius easily accompanied his father to the place. But then the effect of curse came to an end. It was for the first time Sirius was almost successful at resisting the curse. He tried many times but was never close. If he finds to resist the curse how will he make Sirius follow the path of Blacks. " I think I have made myself clear. " Said Orion. " You will never meet the filthy friends of you." said Walburga. " You can not speak ill of my friends. They are far better from my family, my own parents for God sake just want to maintain their name and do nothing with their son's happiness." Said Sirius with misty eyes. " Young boy you certainly not mean that and you should know that we are blacks. " Said Mrs. Black. " What you will do , will control me by imperius ? No !! YOU CANNOT CONTROL ME!" snapped Sirius. " Imperio " muttered Walburga with wand pointed towards The boy went pale. He again tried to resist the curse but failed. The scene was seen by his younger brother Regulus. Slight terror was observed in face of the parents.

After one week has passed , the blacks were constantly controlling Sirius with imperius. While regulus was traatised by the sight but kept quiet . This was the difference in siblings. Both certainly do not follow their family ideologies, but Sirius was brave enough to point that out while Regulus was not. He was afraid he didn't want to loose the family. He certainly don't want to loose live of his parents. He certainly cannot imagine himself at place of Andromeda who was recently banished from the family for mockering honour of Blacks by marrying a Muggleborn.
Sirius grew in the same household but somehow never inherited their ideology. He was never affected by them. It was something genetic. It was rare insuch pureblood families to resist the family ideology and prejudices.

Usually the children adapt the family ideology and even if someone after adapting the ideology somehow gets infected with thoughts like equality and no prejudices against Muggles and muggleborns the family already have a masterstroke. The imperius curse. The Blacks and the Malfoys both were always popular to be associated with dark arts. It was a tradition to teach them curses and dark arts from an early age. But the only thing which was never taught was to resist imperius. And they were never allowed to learn it in their school too. There was always a chance that one can deviate so the move was necessary. But in case of Sirius it was different. He was rebellious from always. So he had been subjected to the curse for his whole life. This made his mind strong enough to resist it. But something great was required which was provided by the marauders - friendship and love. Today the same happened. Sirius finally resisted the curse. And write a letter to James explaining his condition. But he was unaware of the fact that he has been watched. " SIRIUS ORION BLACK DON'T DARE TO POST THAT LETTER TO THE BLOOD TRAITOR! " Yelled Mrs. Black . " Or what , Moth- or shall I say Mrs. Black wife of Orion Black mistress of most noble and ancient house of Black!!" said Sirius in mocking voice. " Watch your tone boy you are talking to your mother! " Said Walburga geinting her teeth. " So you will curse me and turn me into a puppet and make me behave just like Regulus. Your perfect son . Right! " " Oh Yes! Imperio!" Walburga smiled in her victory but wait nothing happened Sirius resisted it completely. " You cannot control me!" Said Sirius while giving the letter to his owl but then he heard, " You have left me no choice!" Snapped Walburga. Regulus just entered the room to see the terrifying sight. " Crucio!" Yelled Mrs. Black . Before Sirius could do anything to defend himself, before he could even move, he had been hit again by the Cruciatus curse. The pain was so intense, so all-consuming, that he no longer knew where he was... white-hot knives were piercing every inch of his skin, his head was surely going to burst with pain; he was screaming more loudly than he'd ever screamed in his life. The relationship between Sirius and his parents was now over, only if it was there somewhere. And the last drop of courage in blood of Regulus vanished and now he can never trust his parents he has to be perfect or he will be the next.

Regulus always loved siriusbbut was unable to express and since his parents dilike Sirius he was afraid that if he grew close to him then he will be treated in the same way. Both have their own different mindset. Sirius di not want such parents who will love him only if he follow their path while Regulus though fake but wants attention and live of his family. This fake act of Regulus made Sirius dislike him. Regulus was his only friend before school and now he behaves differently he is becoming like his parents. This drifted him apart from Regulus. Although deep inside he cared for him . But the situations and thinking of the boys strained their relationship. Both cared for each other but will never be open only to make things worse.
