Chapter 5: Secret Admirer

The pageant ended successfully and as predicted, Aiah won.

An army of students rushed towards Aiah as she makes her way down the stage.

Male Student 1: "Miss Queen, pa-picture please! Then I can die!"

Male student 2: "Queen, di ako papakamatay, sasamahan kita habang buhay!"

Female Student 1: "Hoy, ano ka?! Pumila ka nga diyan! Ako nauna sayo!"

Female Student 2: "Meron po tayong membership exclusive only for Miss Queen fans club! AND WE GO FIRST! Naka member ba kayo?!"

Jhoanna and Colet hurriedly went to Aiah to control the situation & to prevent getting squeezed by the crowd.

Colet: "GUYS KALMA! Huwag kayo magtulakan, kayo itutulak ko!"

Jhoanna: "If you want a picture gaya ng narinig nyo magpa membership muna kayo"

Male students: "Ha? Magkano yun?"

Colet: "Mura lang naman, wantu pwede na kayo papicture kahit na kalian!"

Aiah *face palm* "Pinagkakitaan niyo pa beauty ko, nabuang na kayo."

The students calmed down and lined up to get their photos taken with Aiah but a familiar face caught her attention.

The girl she's looking for since the beginning...

"She dyed her hair RED?!"

Aiah is shocked. She can't believe what she is seeing right now. She can't take her eyes off Mikha, she's so irresistible and cute! *UWU*

Her figure slowly comes close to Aiah and their eyes meet. This is the first time that their eyes come in contact for a long time.

"Are you noticing me now?" Aiah thought.

Soon, the red-haired girl was in front of her.

Aiah: *di makasalita*

Colet: "Hey, what's your name? And where have you been all my life?"

Mikha: "Hello. My name is Mikha Lim. I just transferred here eh.

Colet: "Pero alam mo, same kayo ng alaga kong isda..."

Mikha: "What? Why?"

Colet: "Pareho kayong cute. BOOM!"

Mikha: "Isda pala huh? >_<"

Jhoanna: "Kamukha mo rin isda mo Colet, malaki labi. JKK LABYU BII!"

Colet: "Pisti ka Jho, Pero joke lang ah miss"

Mikha: "Yeah yeah. I know haha"

Jhoanna: "Magpapa-member ka din ba? For only P1,200 pesos, you'll get an exclusive selfie together with Ate Aiah, all access sa events na sinasalihan niya sa school, be part of our FB official group – MAGANDANG BINIBINI and lastly----."

Jho's passionate promotion was cut by Aiah.

Aiah: "Do you want a photo with me, Miss?" she grinned.

"At last, will my plan finally work?" she thought.

Aiah was waiting for an answer from Mikha but then a student shouted,

Male student: "Hey Miss red hair! Gusto mo ba si Miss Queen?! Ang tagal na naming nakapila dito nag aantay para magpapicture."

Mikha: "N-no...Of course not! H-hindi ko siya gusto!"

Colet: "Aray beh! Mapanakit. Tagos sa buto."

Jhoanna: "Ate Aiah...bawi nalang tayo sa next life."

Aiah: "Seriously??"

Aiah was disappointed with Mikha's answer. She spent the whole weekend trying to think of a way that will capture her attention; practiced singing, bought expensive clothes and even be in the spotlight but nothing worked. Aiah felt a thorn in her chest. Her situation is hopeless.

Aiah: "W-wait, what? Then, bakit ka andito?"

Mikha: "Inutusan lang ako ng friend ko, she's a big fan of yours..."

Aiah: "Ah..."

Mikha: "She told me to give this to you."

Mikha handed a bouquet of white tulips to Aiah and a red envelope. Aiah accepted it in a dreary manner.

Aiah: "These are my favorite flowers... Thank you."

People around Aiah and Mikha are in awe watching them.

Jhoanna: "Yeee! May secret admirer si Ate Aiah!"

Colet: "SINO BA YAN!! AT NANG MABUGBOG KO! ANG TORPE NAMAN!"

Jhoanna: "Oh kalma lang Colet! Jusko, na-activate si anger."

Students/admirers: "Hoy miss pulang buhok! Sabihin mo dun sa kaibigan mo pumila siya ng maayos at kami nauna!"

Student A: "Tapos na delulu natin huhuhuhu"

Student B: "Para akong nanunuod ng k-drama sa kilig! *finger-heart* Bagay si Miss Queen at si red hair." *uwu*

Student C: "Tanga di ka nakikinig, inutusan lang daw siya!"

Student D: "Galet agad, nabingi lang, pero cute din si red hair. Pila kaya ako sa kanya."

Now the students have their attention to Mikha.

But Mikha doesn't like to be talked about by people, she started to get anxious. She gave a worrisome look to Aiah and quickly fled from the scene.

Aiah just eyed her until she can't see her anymore.

Everyone called it a day.

Aiah changed to her comfortable clothes and packed up her things. There's a lot going on through her mind right now that she didn't even bother to look at her locker already filled with gifts and letters.

Jhoanna: "Ate Aiah, yung locker mo? Don't forget."

Aiah: "I'll get it next time."

Jhoanna: "Weird ha.", looking at Aiah.

Colet: "Tara na guyzz, gusto ko na umuwi."

"Hindi ko siya gusto!" That line keeps repeating in Aiah's head while they leave campus.

While waiting for Mr. Wu, Aiah looked at the white tulips she received from her "admirer" and reminisced what happened after the pageant. A gloomy expression took over her face kahit na nanalo siya sa pageant.

Aiah: "Why... whyyyy?"
