After classes:
Colet: "Yawa, pang isang taon yung tinakbo natin kanina! Nanggigil ako kay Aki!"
Jho: "sUs. Ikaw nga pinaka nag enjoy manuod kanina eh! Nabasag eardrums ko sa kakasigaw mo."
**Aiah just laughing habang yung dalawa ay nagbabardagulan**
Aiah: "Thank you but I'm fine girls, Mr. Wu is on his way na. You guys go ahead. I'll see you tomorrow. Love you two!"
Colet and Jho: "Ingat xoxo!" and they left in a blue car.
Aiah was left alone in the entrance of their school then her eyes diverted to a group of girls across the street.
Aiah: "Oh, it's the volleyball team. So, it means..."
She saw Mikha in the group, nonchalant siya with other players. Petite and easy on the eyes, her gummy smile made Aiah say "Cutie".
This is a new side of Mikha na first time lang makita ni Aiah aside from seeing her play volleyball today.
"Mikha Lim, I accept defeat..." Aiah feeling down and dispirited.
"You really don't acknowledge nor admire me, Hindi ko na ipipit sarili ko sa'yo..." She added and her ride arrived in front of her.
Mr. Wu: "Miss Queen, I'm sorry for being late. There was an accident on the way here."
He opened the door for Aiah and she just nodded and got inside the car.
Mr. Wu: "Hmm?"
Saturday morning~
Aiah feeling bored and looking something fun to do, accompanied her mother to the salon.
Mrs. Arceta: "Mariah, are you sure ayaw mo magpa cut ng hair, or get a nail art?"
Aiah: "I'm fine mom, my hair still looks good pa naman po."
Mrs. Arceta: "Alright, if you say so, you wait here, okay?"
Aiah: "I will, Mom", she replied and got a magazine to read.
After browsing the magazine, Aiah looked outside thru the glass panel of the salon. The sky looks grayish, not a bit of sunlight is seen; strong winds made the leaves dance crazy and lightning can be seen in the distance.
Aiah in her thoughts: "It's going to rain soon, I guess."
Aiah glanced the street and saw an old woman selling banana cue. She got worried about her because it started to drizzle. The old woman, having no umbrella to use, panicked and tried to save her bananas from the rain.
Aiah, without hesitation, grabbed an umbrella and ran as fast as she can to the old lady. Luckily, she got there in time before it started pouring.
*My running routine paid off today, yey* Aiah happily said in her thoughts.
Aiah: "Lola, here's an umbrella, I'll help you po."
The old woman smiled at her.
Old woman: "Pagpalain ka ng Panginoon, Maraming salamat apo..."
Aiah carried the basket with banana cue and lead the old woman in the nearest waiting shed.
Aiah: "Lola, you can stay here dito sa waiting shed hanggang tumigil ang ulan. Please keep this umbrella for you to use."
*Hala, I need to replace this umbrella pala lol* Aiah remembered she just randomly took an umbrella in the salon.
Old woman: "Maraming salamat talaga apo, ang ganda mo at ang bait mo pa. Heto banana cue, pasensiya na at lumambot na."
"Maraming salamat po, lola. Di niyo naman po kailangan magbigay pa. Masaya ako at natulungan kita." Aiah smiled; she has a soft spot when it comes to old people.
Aiah: "Sige po lola, Mauna na po ako. Kainin ko po itong banana cue paguwi ko. Magiingat po kayo pauwi." She bid her farewell and quickly ran back to the salon but got stuck in the middle of the crossing.
"Oh, come on..." Aiah is waiting for the light to turn green to cross the road again. Suddenly, it poured heavily as she covers her head with her hands.
* yung bananacue ko☹, ang tagal naman ng green light na 'to! *
But she felt the rain stopped falling on her body and saw an umbrella's silhouette on the ground.
"Oh, thank you so much!" Aiah said.
Someone from behind shared the umbrella to Aiah. She didn't get a chance to see the strangers face as the light turned green.
Aiah and the stranger walked together to cross the street and reached the salon. Aiah quickly stepped on to the staircase and fixed herself with her back facing the stranger.
Aiah: Thank you so much! If it wasn't for you basang sisw na ako sa ulan." She said while laughing.
Stranger: "You're welcome; you should take care of yourself first." A girl with a deep voice replied.
She felt goosebumps. Aiah's eyes widened and immediately tuned her head to look who it was.
"Mikha..."
"Is that you?!" startled, she asked.
But the stranger already walked away before she could hear her question.
Aiah could only see her back, "Red hair..." she described.
Her face flushed into a pink hue; her heart wanted to escape from her chest.
"I felt this way before..."
