Ever since that day of my first test flight, I had been working on a suit that could cover any situation I could possibly think of. I'd made up to seven suits in that time, all with minor tweaks and improvements- the minature arc reactor my father created? I improved that into a new element to help conserve energy and maximize power output. The armor itself?

I transformed it from a heavy titanium steel to a lighter alloy. I made the armor more compact and portable at one point, changed up the colors here and there, because why would you want a bland ass piece of armor? Don't get me wrong, silver is a super nice color, but you need some variety time to time. When it came down to the seventh suit, I had taken all my mistakes and fixed them into one. This suit had underwater capabilities, enhanced strength and speed, rockets, lasers, a unibeam right on the arc reactor, and by complete accident I had learned that my repulsors could be used as weapons. Hell, I made it so the suit didn't have to be assembled by my newly robotic arms that I had created FOR that purpose! The parts now flew to me and assembled by themselves! It was a great day when I created that suit.

I wiped the sweat from my forehead and stood up. After days and days of working my ass off with little sleep and fuck tons of monster energy drinks, I finished my newest suit.
''Woah. Finally. The mark seven.''
I walked up to the suit and ran my hand down the arm, it was slick, compact, it felt like 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳. Like 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦. I could prove to the world that I was worth something, even if I was quirkless. I wouldn't be looked at and thought of as another bit of rubble on the road, but rather one shining beacon for all to see.
The door opened to the garage and Asuto entered with some Mcdonalds.
"Yoooo! How's that new suit coming along?"
''You're just in time! It's all finished, I don't think there's much else I can do to this suit in regards of abilites, I'll have to see how it holds up in the U.A. entrance exam.''
"Yeah, for sure. You worried about that? It's tomorrow."
''The entrance exam? Of course, I've always worried when there's the word 'exam' written somewhere. I'm just worried about the written part, but I'm confident I'll pass the practical part with flying colors. That's where people will see a quirkless hero in the making for the first time!''
"Hell yeah bro, that's the spirit!"
He chuckled, we both pulled up chairs and sat down and began to dig in. I was eating a big mac with some fries and he had the same.
''With everything I've done on the previous suits, I'm ninety percent sure the suit will hold up against any type of threat. It's speed is about eight times the speed of sound, the strength is... Well I don't know what to compare it to, but it's strong. It's naturally ice resistant because of the type of material, but against people with ice quirks? I don't know. I fixed it so if I have to fly high altitudes it won't freeze over like that day.'' I laughed. ''It's got smart micro-guns on the shoulders that lock on to people, like for hostage situations, y'know? The classic 'move and I'll blow their head off!' type shit. It's got guided micro-missiles and projectiles built into the forearms and shoulders of the suit that lock on as well, it's got flairs to make sure I don't get hit with a missiles, a laser system- I'm blabbering on aren't I?''
Asuto was staring off into space eating the last of his big mac.
''Yeah I'm blabbering off.'' I chuckled.
''Well, I better hit the hay and get ready for the exam tomorrow, huh?''
"Yeah, that'd be a good idea. Goodnight man."
''Alright, goodnight.''
I left the garage and closed the door behind me, I looked up at the stars. A clear night.
''Here's to success and proving a point.'' I stuck my hand up in the air, then entering the house to go to sleep.

Day of U.A. Entrance Exam

-

''Ho-ly SHIT! This place is HUUUUGE!'' I laughed, grabbing my phone and snapping pictures of the building.
''How many kids attend this place? I thought they had a super low acceptance rate. Don't matter though, I am NOT going to be one of those I hope!''
When I took my first step past the gate and onto the campus, it felt like there was no turning back. 'Cuz there wasn't! Why the fuck would I? Ha!
I looked around the campus at the beautiful trees and landscape, then I entered the main building and went to the front desk to ask for directions. I did, found where to go and I took a seat in around the higher-middle section.
I sat down, cracking my knuckles and my neck, and relaxed.
