I: Welcome to camp?

Percy Jackson is fed up with the universe and its little games.

Percy's school went on a field trip to the museum and as expected it was chaos When he was walking up the stairs into the museum he heard a voice, Everything is about to change it said Percy tried to ignore it but it continued you must be ready Percy he stopped in his tracks looking around to find where the voice was coming from.

"Percy," Mrs.Dodds, his pre-algebra teacher, said snapping him out of his trance "You're going to fall behind," Percy quickly caught back up with his class.
Inside the main exhibit, Mr. Brunner had again singled Percy out of the group to ask if he knew the subject of an art piece.

"You have something in common," his teacher had hinted.
On a whim, Percy glanced at the carved Greek which labeled the base of the statue. He thought he was losing his mind again when the characters shifted around, becoming legible English.
"Perseus?" he reads, his information empty.
"Correct!" Mr. Brunner exclaims.
"What?" Percy says, looking up. "Oh, no, I wasn't—"
Grover nudges Percy to stop talking, and Mr.Brunner continues explaining before sending the kids to do their worksheets. Percy feels someone watching him, he turns around to see a girl with curly hair and brown skin watching him and Grover again, she had arrived around the same time as Grover and was always watching so this time he just ignored her. Percy zones out thinking of a flashback with his mom until someone says something.
"Mom?" Percy says snapping back to reality.
"I'm right here sweetie! Mommy's here," Nancy Bobfit responds teasing him before going to laugh with her friends. Before Percy could respond he saw Mrs.Dodds looking at him even weirder than normal.
"Mr.Jackson, you will learn to control yourself, do you understand me?" Mrs.Dodds says to Percy.
"Me?"
"Do you understand me?" she is completely ignorant of Nancy's insults and bullying.
"He can't help it, Mrs.Dodds. Percy's special" Nancy adds.
"That's enough!" Mr.Brunner rolls his wheelchair over to Percy "Pay them no mind. When you're ready to hear what the gods have in store for you they'll tell you. I believe in you, and I believe you'll be needing this" Mr.Brunner pulls a pen out of his pocket handing it to Percy. "Hang on to that, 'tis a mighty instrument."
Later at lunch he and Grover were just talking.
"Look, I get that Nancy has issues. I'm just getting tired of her taking them out on me. I feel like- maybe it's time to do something about it," Percy admits.
"You could make an appointment to see Mr.Kane. He's really good at talking-" Grover starts.
"I was thinking more like shoving Nancy into the nearest dumpster," Percy cuts him off, and Grover immediately disagrees.
They continue to talk before Nancy throws a piece of cheese at Grover, Percy gets up ready to stand up to Nancy he launches her without even touching her. With every passing person Mrs.Dodds turns into some creature shes asks for some item, she pins him down, and the pen Mr.Brunner gave him turns into a sword stabbing her. Then Mrs.Dodds evaporates and somehow vanishes from everyone's memory! He looks around to see if anyone saw what just happened but no one seemed to, not even that girl who was always looking at him or Mr.Brunner. The two boys then end up in the headmaster's being questioned about what happened to 'Mrs.Bobfit'.
"I didn't touch Nancy," Percy says again.
"Okay. Mr.Underwood? Do have anything to add?" the headmaster asks.
Grover pauses before responding, "Yes, I do. Percy had told me earlier in the day that he wanted to get back at Nancy for all she's done to us."
"Grover?" Percy questions.
"And he isn't being truthful about what happened at the fountain" he continues. The headmaster asks Grover if he saw Percy assault Nancy and he says yes, causing Percy to get expelled. Percy gets home the first thing he sees is his mother's husband, Gabe, they immediately begin to go back and forth. When he finds his mom she has blue jelly beans, they talk about what happened at school and his mom explains to Gabe that they are going to the cabin at the beach. When they get there Percy asks his mom if he can talk to her about his dreams and the museum, Percy then becomes extremely confused about how his mom knows about what he saw, and what Mrs.Dodds turned into.
"Do you know why we come to this cabin every year?" Sally asks.
"Mom, how do you know about that thing I saw?" Percy says still extremely confused.
"We come to this place every year because this is the place I met your father"
"My dad? What does my dad have to do with this?"
Sally tells Percy the story of when she met his father. "Then I realized he was unlike any man I had ever met before. Because h- he wasn't a man at all. He was a god."
"You fell in love with God? Like..like, like Jesus?"
"Not God. A god. Percy, the stories that I have told you about Greek gods and heroes and monsters, they are real.
"Mom-"
"In those stories, I have told you about how gods and mortals would have children called demigods and sometimes they are known as half-bloods."
"That's what the monster called me. Mom, what's happening?"
"You are a half-blood. And half-bloods are not safe in the world. Once they reach a certain age and they begin to understand what they are, terrible forces are drawn to them. Driven to harm them before they can become strong enough to fight back. That is what you have been feeling. It has always been part of who you are, it was always coming, I just-"
"Why are you telling me this?"
"Percy, I know that this is hard to understand, but you have to believe me that this is real."
"No, this is crazy. Okay? I am not a god. There is something wrong with my brain. I understand that I'm weird, believe me, I get it, but I'm afraid something may be really broken now. And- and now you're telling me stories like it's going to make it okay. Well, I'm not a baby! I know there's no such thing as monsters, I know there's no such thing as gods, and I know for certain that there is no such thing as demigods." Percy snaps then there is a knock on the door Sally goes to get it, it's Grover but Percy doesn't want to see him. Grover begins to explain a whole bunch of stuff
"Grover!" Percy calls out.
"What?"
"Grover, why is there half a goat in your pants?"
"Oh, it's... Oh! Oh, boy, she didn't tell you about- You didn't tell him about me?"
Sally responds "You're early"
"So I guess you haven't told him about Lilac either.." Grover asks, Sally shakes her head before getting everyone ready to go.
"Lilac? Who is Lilac?" Percy asks.
"We'll continue this in the car. Let's go." Sally says walking out the door. Grover then begins to explain everything in the car but while driving a Minotaur comes after them. They crash into a ditch and run out to get to the camp entrance. The minotaur comes back and Sally stays to fight in, it grabs her and she evaporates like the monster at the museum. Percy runs to attack the monster, to get revenge for his mother, he ends up cutting the minotaur horn before it evaporates and he wakes up to some camp.
"Welcome to camp Percy Jackson we have been expecting you." a voice says.
He gets taken to the infirmary to rest when his eyes open a bit he sees two girls and Grover.
"You drool when you sleep," the shorter girl says.
"Annabeth don't be rude, just because its true doesn't mean have to say it," the taller one answers.
