Dick questioned.

It was a bright ass day, The sun was shining its harsh rays on the world, As if noticing his discomfort with the weather, Cloud gathered around to cover the school, Making it look dark and gloomy all of a sudden.

Dick who was previously relaxed brought his hands from his pocket, His experience in hiding his intentions didn't betray him as he was very cautious now but he still had a smile on his face.

"No, No, I'm not looking for a fight... Jean would probably kill me before you do."

Ororo laughed a bit at her joke, But she wasn't going to attack him she just had some questions.

"Okay, Shoot"

Dick visibly relaxed but he wasn't fully relaxed yet.

"Are you Apocalypse? "

Ororo paid strict attention to Dick's facial expression to see if he'd do anything that'd expose him, But there was no reaction from him to say he knew what she was talking about.

"I'm sorry, Apocalypse wouldn't befriend Jean after what she did to him."

Ororo apologized and prepared to leave but Dick's next words shocked her even with her immunity to lightning and electricity.

"You mean, Molecular disintegration? That was painful for sure."

Dick mumbled shrugging, Now it was Ororo's turn to become vigilant.

"So you are?!"

"Not him, Same powers and memory, Different goals and ideas, Completely different people."

Dick summarized it, He never claimed to be Apocalypse... and he didn't want to be, He was his own person, Wanting to live life with a lot of cuties and enough power to completely avoid the dangers in Marvel, How could he be related with someone who believed in survival of the fittest?

Ororo calmed down when she saw him not reacting even though she knew, it meant it wasn't something he was trying to hide.

"No idea, But I didn't take the shape, Probably some genius tried to play God and experiment on me with his DNA."

Dick didn't want to think about it.

"But it doesn't make sense, If we're going by the age we killed Apocalypse you shouldn't be up to 5 years of age."

Storm was slowly getting a headache trying to think about it.

For the umpteenth time, Dick shrugged "I don't care the truth would come out with time."

Ororo was taken aback by his calmness, The rumble of lightning in the clouds slowly died but they didn't disperse, Blocking the son.

He didn't seem to still be the vengeful mutant tyrant who just wanted to amass followers and enslave humanity, Being one of his former followers, It made Ororo wonder, Is that why she somewhat respected him since the beginning?

Is this why he also listened to her the most?

'It can't be.'
