Ch 8

Yami was peacefully sleeping in Luffy's arms , only to wake up in the present time in bed . He turned his head and found Shanks sleeping shirtless beside him.

Confused and trying to understand what happened, Yami turned to Kai and questioned him.
"Kai , CAN YOU TELL ME WHY THE HELL I AM IN THIS SITUATION ?!!". Yami asked in confusion .

"Well , as you can see , your future self was involved with Shanks intimately," Kai replied simply.

"WHAT  ?? MY FUTURE SELF DID WHAT ?!! " Yami exclaimed, feeling a mix of shock and disbelief.

Shanks wake up to find that the future Yami had vanished, and the present Yami had taken his place.

Yami thought to himself," Okay , that's weird."

As Yami tried to get out of the bed, Shanks suddenly grabbed his hand and pulled him towards him. He whispered, "why didn't you tell me?".

Yami , confused, asked," tell you what ?".

Tell me that you felt uncomfortable with me ," Shanks said in a tone of voice filled with unknown emotions.

"I....I didn't feel uncomfortable about you at all. It's just.....it's my first time loving someone, and I didn't know what to do or say . I didn't know anything. All i knew that I was falling for you and I couldn't stop myself. But I also knew it was too soon for us , and I didn't think you could wait for me all those years ahead," Yami said , his voice gentle with tears in his eyes

Shanks sighed , giving Yami a soft smile. He held Yami in his arms and said," it's not too soon for us to. Look at me , I'm already yours, and you can't escape from me that easily." Shanks playfully pointed at the marks on his neck and chest that future Yami had left.

Yami blushed as he looked at the marks that his future self had made on Shanks' body.

Taking Yami's hand, Shanks gazed at him , trying to meet his his eyes. Shanks chuckled and asked," Are you hungry?" With a soft gaze.

Yami nodded in response.

After they both got ready , Shanks carried Yami in his arms and they went to Makino's bar to eat . Yami felt embarrassed by Shanks treating him like a child, even though his physical body appeared young. Shanks , on the other hand, seemed to enjoy teasing Yami and treating him playfully. As they entered the bar , Yami noticed that the entire crew was looking at them and laughing. Luffy was chatting with Makino while eating.

Luffy turned his head to see who had entered and saw Shanks holding Yami . Not understanding the situation, Luffy said to Yami ," Yami , you have to tell Shanks that I'm no longer a child and that i can go with him and his crew on adventures. He was making fun of me and teasing me ."

Shanks looked at Yami with an innocent expression, as if he were a child, and exclaimed," can you believe that ?!".

Yami couldn't help but burst into laughter. He truly believed that being reborn in the One piece world was the best thing he had ever experienced

-After some time-

Yami went to the forest to practice his powers . Kai had been showing him his skills, and Yami realised that if he wanted to survive in the One Piece world, he needed to become stronger. Therefore, he decided to dedicate himself to practice and become more powerful.

Yami chose Kai as his teacher, and Kai immediately set some ground rules. " Since you want me to be your teacher, that means you have to do whatever I ask you to do. So , Run !" Kai commanded.

Yami started to running, pushing himself to his limits. He ran for 15 minutes, then 30 minutes, and eventually reached an hour. As time went on, he became tired and thirsty, but he couldn't stop. Kai was watching him closely, making sure he didn't give up. After an hour and a half, Yami's legs started to go numb, and he felt like his heart was about to burst.

Yami tried to slow down, but Kai wouldn't allow it . He pushed Yami to keep running until he was completely exhausted and infuriated.

- Meanwhile, in another location-

Enos observed Yami's struggle and couldn't help but laugh with a strange smile on his face. " The drama is getting so slow," Enos sighed, contemplating an idea." Well , I think it's time for me to get involved in this world again," he said, his tone filled with mystery.
