After spending some time in the bar , enjoying the company of Luffy and Shanks , the sun began to set , casting a beautiful golden light over the beach.

Yami felt the need to escape the stress and tension that had built up , so he excused himself and stepped outside, informing Makino of his intention to take a walk by the sea .

As Yami made his way to the beach, he couldn't help but feel a sense of peace wash over him . The sand felt cool and beneath his feet as he walked along the shore, and the gentle breeze caressed his face. The colors of the sunset painted the sky in hues of orange and pink, creating a serene atmosphere.

Lost in his thoughts , Yami heard a voice behind him , but he
didn't feel the immediate urge to turn around and see who it was . However, he soon felt strong arms wrapped around him from behind, causing a momentary panic. But as he recognized the scent and presence , he realized it was Shanks .

"Do you know how long I've been waiting just to see you again ?" Shanks whispered , his voice filled with a mixture of longing and vulnerability. Yami's heart skipped a beat, unsure of how to react to Shanks ' unexpected affection.

Before Yami could respond, Shanks held his tighter u and pleaded , " just let me stay like this for a little while ".

Yami could feel the weight of Shanks' head resting on his shoulder, and he noticed the dampness on his own shoulder. Concerned, he asked," Shanks are you crying ?".

Shanks didn't answer but continued to hold onto Yami tightly, as if afraid to let go. They stayed in each other's embrace, the sound of the crashing waves providing a soothing backdrop.

Finally, Shanks spoke again , his voice tinged with a mix of gratitude and sadness. " I don't know whether to thank or curse the heavens for allowing me to finally meet you again. Y-you're so young , and i am a pirate. But i am willing to wait for you until you're seventeen. That's what I have decided ".

Confused and overwhelmed, Yami listened to Shanks 'words, trying to comprehend the depth of their meaning. "Shanks, I appreciate your feelings, but i have m-more than you as my soulmate ", Yami confessed, his voice trembling.
