002. chaotic birthday dinner.
(irl)

My parents decided to invite literally my entire group of friends to a birthday dinner for me at some fancy restaurant today. i have a few problems with this; for one, it's literally 45 degrees outside. two, i have no idea how they even got all of my friends contacts. three, i haven't spoken to my parents in two months. and lastly, i don't fuck with them.

But, i'm gonna be grateful and let them do this. i guess.

My friends are well aware of how my parents can be. overbearing, can't tell what's a joke and what's not, very christian and overall they're just never around for me or my brother.

Body language by big sean was playing while i did my makeup. i was dressed in a beige turtleneck cut out sleeveless crop top, and a short cargo denim skirt. i haven't figured out what shoes i'm going to wear yet. I heard the faint noise of my alarm going off in the living room meaning my people are here.

My bedroom door opened and Aubrey came in with a teasing smile on her face, her eyebrows were furrowed a little— "why are you listening to this freaky ass song?" she asked me, walking up behind me.

I looked at her through my vanity mirror and dare i say; she looked good. real good. (imagine whatever outfit babe, ion feel like typing nan)

"It gets me hype, ya' know?" i was just talking.

She hummed and grabbed my head, pulling it back and she pressed a kiss to my forehead. to me, moments like these felt really intimate, in a romantic way. but i know she most likely thinks of it as platonic affection. But, nonetheless, I smiled at her. to show my deep appreciation for her just being in my life.
