Kailyn, Nolan, Nella and I sat in the stands, food in our hands as we watched our girls on the court play against USC. This game had us on edge since this game would either lead us to Final Four or end up being the last game of the season. But the girls were playing really well. Unfortunately, Aubrey and Azzi weren't playing in this game.
But you know, We gotta cheer the others on.
Good news is, Paige was on a roll. and best believe Kailyn was all in my ear hollering whenever her girlfriend scored a point. cute but annoying. i swear my ear drum is collapsed and gone now.
Halftime, the girls went to the locker room and USC's cheerleaders did some sophisticated ass dance, something that i probably wouldn't be able to do without breaking my ass.
"Nella sit down, you look crazy." I heard Nolan say, Kailyn and I looked over to see Nella standing up, trying to do the dances that the cheerleaders were doing. and oh my, did she look crazy. the cheerleaders were moving fast as hell on the court and she couldn't keep up.
"This is so boring. They don't play the good songs. best believe if we were at an HBCU they'd be playing No hands by Fetty wap right now, and the whole arena would be live," Kailyn complained, sinking into her seat. she wasn't lying, they played some upbeat song while the cheerleaders danced. a few people were standing and clapping for them. but other than that, it was quite boring.
"Need to play some boosie or something." Nella agreed, mugging the air.
"Or some Kevin gates." Nolan added his input, which made us turn our heads to him in a quick motion.
