It's been a few days since Neveah had torn her acl in new york. she was trying to adjust to being crippled and walking with crutches, but it was hard for her. her mental state was declining, and she was trying to keep her spirits up by keeping her friends and girlfriend around but nothing was really working.
She kept thinking about how she could've prevented it from happening. she could've been practicing with her teammates right now, getting ready for their game on the 13th.
But her coach decided to just let her help with coaching on the sidelines.
Right now, her and paige were playing checkers while their girlfriends were put getting food with Azzi and kk.
As much as Vee hated to admit it, She thought Paige was pretty good company.
"Imma need you to hurry up and move the damn checker before i flip the board." Neveah blankly said, making Paige look up at her and pause.
