(F/N) = Friend's Name (to make it simpler this friend is female)
"Ok my turn! If you had any quirk what would it be?" You asked your friend (F/N). The two of you were sitting at McDonald's munching on fries and chicken nuggets. It had been a while since you had hung out with her, but you had reconnected after you found out she started watching My Hero Academia. It's one of your favorite shows.
"Already existing or made up quirk?" (F/N) asked as a follow-up.
"Either one it doesn't matter." You both had been talking about the show for probably 20 minutes now, telling each other your favorite characters, scenes, and now quirks.
"Uhm.. I don't know, that's a hard one." She looked down at the table in thought. "For already existing I'd definitely choose, like, Shigaraki's or something. Even though it's not the strongest it's definitely one of my favorites." She looked back up at you. "For a made up quirk I'll have to get back to you on that, I can't think of anything cool right now." She popped another fry in her mouth. "How 'bout you?"
You tapped the table in thought. "Uhm I like Best Jeanist's quirk, I feel like the restraint ability would be super helpful. And I made up my own quirk a while ago, it's called 'Aquatic.' Basically it's a mutation and a normal power. So I have like, headfins and a tail that helps me swim but I can also sharpen my finger tips into claws. Not to mention I can sharpen my tail into a point too. I also have sharp spines in my forearms that I can retract and make pop out when needed. Uhh what else.. oh right! I have gills so I can breathe underwater too and I can spit acid. I pretty much just took a bunch of cool attributes from a bunch of different fish and put them into one awesome aquatic mutant. The main weeknesses are if I spit too much acid I can burn my mouth and being in water is kinda touchy. I can't primarily breathe the oxygen in the water so I still have to come up for air, but if I'm away from water for too long then I can dry out." You finished your explanation with a smile and waited for (F/N)'s reaction.
"Wow (Y/N) you've really thought about this. That's actually a really cool quirk!"
You both continued to talk and ate your meals before heading out of the McDonald's and towards the mall. A few hours later, you finished up shopping and headed home. You parted ways and headed to your own home after saying goodbye. Your home was about a 10 minute walk from (F/N)'s so you had time to think.
"Hm.. maybe my quirk can make it so I can talk to fish too! That might be kinda overpowered though.." you mumbled under your breath. The gears were turning though, and you made it home before you knew it.
You opened the door and headed straight to your room to drop off the bags of stuff you bought while out shopping. It was about 8 p.m. so you went downstairs to grab a snack. You greeted your mother on the way down, grabbed some chips from the kitchen, and went right back up to your room.
"I wanna get these other ideas down.." you mumbled to yourself. You grabbed your notebook from your desk drawer and sat down while flipping to an already filled out page in the book. When you first came up with the quirk, you wrote down a whole bunch of stuff to go with it. Now that you've thought of more to add, you had to write that down too.
After spending some time writing and drawing pictures to describe certain parts of the quirk, you start to feel quite tired. Without making the effort to climb into bed, you folded your arms under your head and fell asleep at your desk.
If only this stuff was actually real.. I could only imagine what life would be like with a real quirk in a world full of hero's.
As you slept though, something strange happened. A purple mist seemed to appear out of nowhere. It grew in size and quickly engulfed your sleeping form. Within seconds it vanished, leaving a quiet room and a missing (Y/N).

Hope you guys enjoyed the first chapter! This one was pretty short because I was just trying to introduce the story, the rest of them will be much longer. I plan to release chapters in groups of 5 or more just so y'all don't have to suffer with one at a time. With that the next 4 chapters should already be released so get reading!
