After I changed back into my uniform and grabbed my backpack, I headed to the teachers lounge to meet up with Hizashi. Upon opening the door, there were several teachers still inside even though school ended about 45 minutes ago. Most of their heads turned towards me but I avoided eye contact and made a bee-line towards Hizashi.

He lifted his head up from the paperwork he was filling out. "Ah.. hey kid. Look, we've got a lot of paperwork to fill out here in response to the attack. You remember how to get home right? Here.." Hizashi reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet. He opened it and grabbed several bills and handed them to me along with a folded up slip of paper.

"I said we'd go get groceries but I don't quite have the time right now. But there's a store not too far from the house. Just head on down and pick up some stuff on the list, alright? I'll be home late." I thanked Hizashi and turned to leave. "Oh, hold up!"

I turned back around as Hizashi handed me a slip of paper that he pulled out of a folder. "Fill this out ASAP." I looked at the paper, it was a form to design a hero costume.

"Oh great, thanks Hizashi." He ruffled my hair and smiled before I turned back to the doors and exited out into the hallway. I couldn't help but overhear some other teachers though as I was walking away.

"Ya'know, you're a great uncle, Mic."

"Agreed, you make a great father-figure."

I made it to the store and unfolded the list. Thankfully, I took a Japanese foreign language class back at my old school so I was able to read off the list and quickly find most of the things I needed.

Wait.. if all the product and writing is in Japanese then why is everyone speaking English.. whatever.

As I turned down an isle to find the last thing on the list, I saw a familiar head of red and white hair.

Todoroki!

He glanced at me as I walked down the aisle and then did a double take.

"Oh, it's you. (Y/N), right?" His voice was so monotonous but smooth at the same time. It sounded better with my own ears rather then through a speaker on my Tv.

"Y-yeah. Your.. Todoroki?" I asked. He nodded gently. "It's hard learning everyone's names, but I think I'm getting a handle on it."

Hot damn, I'm a good actor

"I understand that, I still don't know many of our classmates first names." Todoroki admitted. It was weird seeing this side of different characters. In the show, they were never scripted to be shopping or anything like this.

These aren't just characters.. there like real people. I wonder if this has to do with the multiverse theory?

"Yeah, same here." I grabbed a 6 pack of coke and put in my basket, I glanced back down at the list to make sure I grabbed everything. As I was about to turn to leave, Todoroki spoke up again.

"You said your uncle was Present Mic? Can I ask why you're staying with him?" he asked. he walked up beside me and the two of us made our way towards
the front counter to pay.

"Yeah, my parents were involved in a villain attack back home about a week ago.. Mic took me in when they passed." I lowered my head to show my grief.
