①⑤ Unexpected Spars

I walked home in complete silence. The only noise I heard was the occasional dog bark or a distant car. I sped walk the whole way home; I wanted to limit my time out in the dark as much as possible. I felt my phone buzz in my pocket.

Uh oh

I cringed and shoved my phone in my pocket. I quickly picked up the pace and started jogging home. It was dark so I was having trouble reading streets signs and remembering where to go, I ended up making a wrong turn down a street and it took me longer to get home than I wanted.

When I made it to the house, I burst through the front door and ran to the main room after kicking my shoes off. "Everything's fine! I'm home!" I said between gasps of air. Hizashi stood up from where he was leaned over on the counter in the kitchen.

"Do you have any idea what time it is? You gotta keep me in the loop when you start doing things! I know I'm not your parent (Y/N) but you're still my responsibility and I still care about you." Hizashi lowered his voice. He wasn't angry, he was almost sad. "Your class was just attacked my villains. When I come home from work and it's dark and you're not home, that worries me."

Wow I feel like shit

After talking to Hizashi for a bit and apologizing, he helped me get set up on the couch because my room still reeked of paint fumes. After saying goodnight he headed to his bedroom. I curled up on the couch and pulled my blanket up over my shoulders. I was still wearing Kirishima's hoodie because it was cold downstairs.

Tomorrow's a new day. Let's do this

Within a few minutes, I dozed off.

I woke up with an ache in my back. It was later this morning but still only about 6. I grabbed my pillow and blanket off the couch and brought them back up to my room and fixed them nicely on my bed. I decided to text Todoroki again

not sure if your up, but if you are do you wanna go to the school early and maybe do some practice sparing?

I know Todoroki's at a point right now where he doesn't want to make friends, but he did walk with me to school yesterday. Maybe he's having a change of heart?

I grabbed my uniform from yesterday and layed it out on my bed. I went into the bathroom and brushed out my hair. Before changing, I went downstairs and poured myself a bowl of cereal and brought it up to my room to see if I got a response from Todoroki

I copied and pasted the text and sent it to Kirishima. I ate a couple spoonfuls of cereal but Kirishima responded relatively fast.
