I was knocked back by the blast and I looked up. Around me, the entire place looked different. I was on grass, and there were trees around me. I wish I was actually outside, but unfortunately, I wasn't. I looked over and saw the tree that the four council members were killed at. I stood up on my feet and grabbed my axe. Green fog covered the surrounding area. I looked around, trying to find Clarice. She was nowhere to be found. I took one step forward and it was like a tree root wrapped around my foot. I was dragged down into the ground and it felt like I wouldn't stop falling. Then it felt like I was getting hit in several different places as Clarice blitz me, hitting me each time. Eventually I anticipated it and I parried it with my axe. We were floating there in a seemingly green void and my axe was colliding with her magic.
"I don't wanna fight you. I left, yes, I know. I walked away, but it's not like I wanted to!" I shouted before being sent flying back by Clarice's magic.

I landed somewhere and I stood up. I was on some sort of dirt road with a lake surrounding it. Other than that, there was a black void around me. This must've been where Michael killed Clarice at. A white passage stood in front of me and a giant wind blew, pushing me back. I began to walk but I struggled due to the wind. As I walked, it seemed like the white door kept getting farther and farther away.
"You have no idea how lonely it was here. You were my best friend, and you were gone. You never came back" Clarice's voice echoed out.
"I tried finding ways to contact you, believe me, I did! But they cut off all my ties with the employee's after the shut down, there was no way I could check up on you" I argued as I pushed through the wind. Eventually I just ran, the white door becoming white light around me. The white light turned into another void, except this one was obviously white. Then a giant silhouette ripped out of the ground, changing it into the forest area again. Except this time, there was a giant green dragon.

I guess with magic, you can make anything come to life.

The dragon opened its mouth and shot fire out of it, setting the ground ablaze as it tried to hit me. I ran, managing to escape the fire but it grazed my arm a bit and it was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. It took me a bit to get back up because of the agonizing pain but eventually I got up. I made the axe generate electricity but it seemed like it didn't affect it. The dragon swatted at me, which sent me flying back towards the bigger tree. I'm gonna be in a wheelchair by the end of this, I swear. I looked up and the dragon powered up another fire blast. Out of reflex, I put my hands up and the fire shot at me.
But I was.....fine? I opened my eyes and the axe was causing the fire to deflect, and not hit me. Then once the dragon was done, the axe slashed red as if it had absorbed the fire. Then I got an idea. I stood up and I slammed the axe to the ground, fire shooting out of it and hitting the dragon in the face. It was the same fire that the dragon had. The axe had redirected the dragon's attack back at it. I steadied myself and held the axe in front of me. I tried thinking of how I could kill the thing, when Ellie's voice rung through my head.
"Jonah" was all she said. I knew exactly what she was talking about. She was referencing the story of Jonah and the whale from the Bible.
"Well here goes nothing" I said as I encased my surroundings. I could use the branches as a way to get up, since the dragon was huge. I really wish I was spider man so I could crawl up the trees but I'm not. I had to maneuver and climb my way up using stumps and things sticking out of the trees. Eventually, I got up to the highest branch and I looked the dragon dead in the face. Oh god, this is probably the bravest thing I've ever done. I took a deep breath and I jumped.

The world around me went dark as I tumbled into the mouth of the dragon and made my way down his throat. That was disgusting. I used the axe and I sliced it from the inside out, causing the dragon's fire to shoot up through his neck, and I fell out through the hole that I sliced. Then in a flash of green, I was back in the room I was in before with Clarice. Ellie, Tucker and Ashley were behind me and Ellie helped me stand up.
"Thanks for the tip" I said to Ellie. Despite it having been an illusion, I wouldn't have broken out of it without her. I looked over to Clarice who was lying on the ground, crying. I walked over and she looked up at me.
"Wipe your tears. Stand up, it's ok" I said as I reached my hand out to help her up. Eventually she took my hand and stood up.
"I didn't have control, I-" She stuttered.
"I know. It was Michael. But you're back now" I reassured her.
She nodded.
"Clarice.....do you know a way out of here?" I asked.
She looked at me. "Yeah, I know where the r elevator is. Come with me" She said as she led me, Tucker, Ashley and Ellie out of the room
