Canon Divergence: - House alliances and stories will be changed from the canon, especially that of house Staunton and the events at Rook's rest.
- Some Dragonseeds take a different form as OC's.
- The story of Benjicot in this fic is based on the Fire and Blood fan conspiracy that House Blackwood were the original Kings of the North and were closer related to the first men than any other house. In this theory, most Blackwoods have some sort of elemental or seeing magic (Wargs, Skinchangers, bloodmagicians etc) and that the reason the Stark children in GOT have those capabilities is because of a Blackwood marrying into the family line. This is unconfirmed, but fun, and will probably not show up at all in HOTD. So, I wanted to explain that.
- I have no idea what HOTD will do with Ben so I am sticking to headcanon and his original story line in F&B.
- There is going to be a lot more magic and mysticism in this story than what only exists in the book/show.

- please afford Lucera the same grace you would offer a morally gray male character. She is a bastard girl raised by a man with grotesque proclivities and doesn't have the social etiquette of a high lady.
If you can watch Daemon chop a man's head in two and be happy for him; then please consider not being annoyed with Lucera and her mouth. She deserves a hero's journey to becoming a more well-rounded character just like everyone else.
