Chapter 7

Author's POV

Cold breeze were hitting Ishan's face, his heart was beating so fast that it can explode any moment now. Ask why, because Shubman just asked him if Ishan likes him or not. Ishan was shocked when Shubman asked him this question.

Shub: Do you like me?

Ishu: I-I....umm...
(he couldn't even reply him back. Ishan's brain was not working, he knew the answer to this question but his brain was stopping him to answer this question while his heart begging him to answer the question.)

Shub: Its fine Ish, I knew it maybe they were right.
(he muttered the last part of the sentence but it was loud enough for Ishan to hear.)

Ishu: Who were right?
(that's all he said after being quiet from last few min.)

Shub: No one, it's pretty late Ish you should go to sleep.
(he stood up and was about to leave but Ishan pulled him back. Ishan was now holding his hand and made him sit with him.)

Shub: W-what happened ish-
(he was cut off by Ishan.)

Ishu: Yes.
(he said and let out a breath. He did it he finally did it, his heart won the argument that was going on in his mind between his heart and brain.)

Shub: Huh...what does it mean?

Ishu: Answer, answer to your question.
(he was blushing now.)

Shub: So you do like me, they were wrong. I knew you was being a true friend to me.
(he said making Ishan a little confused.)

Ishu in his mind: FRIEND? But I thought he asked if I like him or not romantically. Wait does that mean he was just asking normally.

Shub: Ish Ish you okay? Why are you being so quiet?
(he asked noticing that Ishan has lost in his thoughts.)

Ishu: Umm...nothing I was just wondering why you asked that.
(he said trying to hide his feelings which just got hurt after knowing that Shubman just think of him as a friend.)

Shub: Ohh that I heard some people whispering that you don't wanted to come here and you were not enjoying here. You were pretending to like me. That's why I asked you, if you like me or not.

(Well it was not the real reason of why Shubman asked him that. The real was to know if Ishan likes him back or not. Shubman started to fall for Ishan when they first met but till now he was unsure of his feelings but now it was clear for him that he liked Ishan.)

Ishu: Ohh...I thought you asked romantically.
(he said while being clam not knowing he said it out loud.)

Shub: You thought I asked romantically-Wait you said yes does that mean you like me?
(he asked Ishan. Now Ishan came to his senses, now  reality hitted Ishan.)

Ishu: Y-yes I mean no...
I-I... It's getting late, I'm going to sleep.
(he walked away from there or we could say run away from there.)

Shub: Hey but at least answer my question.
(he said but Ishan didn't looked back and kept walking.)

Shub: Cute.
(he muttered and smiled while blushing a little.)

(Very confused Abhishek and Mayank walked towards Shubman after witnessing what just happened there.)

Abhi: What happened between you and Ishu? Why he walked away? Why he did not looked back?
(Abhishek started to ask lot of questions to Shubman. But Shubman was not listening to him, he was lost in his dream world that he just imagined right now and Ishan being his lover in that world.)

Mayu: Shub?....Shub?.... You okay did something happened to you?
(Mayank asked genuinely concerned for Shubman.)

(Shubman now finally came out of his imaginary world because Abhishek shaked him a little. He suddenly hugged both of them and was smiling.)

Abhi: Shub... Are you are fine?
(he asked being concerned for his bestie because the way shubman was acting was definitely not normal. Mayank was about to say something but Shubman said something which made them more confused.)

Shub: He said yes....HE SAID YES... He said yes.
(he said it three times with excitement and then he hugged Abhi and Mayu again and left from there while singing and dancing a little.)

Abhi: Looks like he got drunk.
(he said not believing how can a person who is always cold to others suddenly started to smile and blush.)

Mayu: Hmm.... Now bye it's pretty late I need to get my beauty sleep.

Abhi: Hey but at least give me a night kiss.
(he said while pouting.)

Mayu: Huhh I'm not giving you any kiss here, what if someone saw us.

(Mayank said and was about to leave but Abhishek pulled Mayank's hand and quickly give a peck on his lips.)

Mayu: What you doing? what if someone saw us?
(he was blushing.)

Abhi: So let them see, I don't care about them.
(he said leaning in for another kiss but received a slap on his face.)

Abhi: Hey it's not fare.
(He said whinging but Mayank did not looked back and went in his room. Abhishek also decided to go back into his room too.)

Next day

Shubman's POV

Last night I asked Ishan if he likes me or not and he said yes I was not expecting him to say yes but hey I am not complaining, but he suddenly left the place without even looking back at me. It's conformed that he likes me and so do I but I don't know what to do now. Should I ask him to be my lover?

(I was in my thoughts when I suddenly bumped into someone.)

Shub: CAN YOU NOT SEE.
(he shouted without looking who he bumped into.)

Ishu: I-I am sorry I didn't saw you.
(he said looking down with a pout.)

Shub: Ish I am sorry I was the one who bumped into you, you don't need to apologise.

Ishu: It's fine you don't need to say sorry.
(he said now finally meeting my Shubman's eyes.)

Shub: Umm Ishan I wanted to know what you said last night was true or not.

(Shubman asked Ishan the thing that Ishan was scared of Ishan knew he loves Shubman but was scared that he would get rejected. So he decided to keep running away from his feelings but some how his feelings kept coming back again.)

Ishu: I-I...it was true I do love you.....but I know you don't love me and it's okay-
(he was cut off by Shubman.)

Shub: I love you.

Hello everyone this is chapter 7 of Destined to meet.
Hope you all like it.
Guys I'm trying to write many parts of this chapter before my exams starts but I will publish them with a gap of two days between each chapter.
