Chapter 12

~Author's POV~

Days became weeks and weeks became months. Time was passing pretty quickly, it's been three months since Ishan and Shubman last met but nothing changed between them. Ishan and Shubman's love for each other grew and grew more in these three months.

Shubman used write letters for Ishan just like he promised and Ishan also used to write letters for Shubman. But now has been two weeks and Shubman
didn't send him any letters, at first Ishan thought that Shubman might be busy and would send him letter after getting free but after not receiving any letters from Shubman, it was making Ishan a little scared.

Ishan was feeling some uneasiness in his heart, so he decided to write a letter to Shubman but to his surprise he didn't received any letter from Shubman. He knew Shubman loves him and so does he but some where in his mind he was thinking maybe Shubman lost interest in him that's why he is not responding to his letters.

Soon a party was going to be held in Kishgarh, because Viraj Kishan's(nephew of Ishan) birthday was just around the corner. Every neighbouring kingdoms king and queen were invited and so were Shubhgarh's king and queen too.

Ishan was excited to meet Shubman in his nephew's birthday party but he was also a little scared, because some where in his mind the thought of Shubman not loving him anymore was still haunting him.

~NEXT DAY~

Today Viraj is going to turn 2 years old. Ishan want everything to be perfect for his nephew's birthday party. He was passing by a balcony that's when he  saw guest arriving. Ishan quickly went downstairs and went near the gate where Dikshit was welcoming all the guests.

Dikshit saw Ishan running towards him he chuckled at Ishan's cuteness. Ishan finally reached him.

Ishu: Dikshu can I welcome the guest with you?
(he asked showing his puppy eyes.)

Dikshit: You don't have to welcome the guests, I can do it. You go back and take care of other things.
(he said making Ishan pout.)

Ishu: Nooo I want to welcome the guests with you.
(he said whining.)

Dikshit: But-
(he was cutted off by Ishan.)

Ishu: Please, please Dikshu I want to welcome the guests with you.

Ishan kept saying please to Dikshit and Dikshit couldn't say no to Ishan so he agreed. Many guests came but Ishan was waiting for specific someone to come and that someone is Shubman the prince of Shubhgarh.

Ishan was thinking what is taking so long for Shubman to come here with his family. He was lost in his thoughts but then he heard Dikshit call him.

Dikshit: Ishu, what happened? I'm calling you but you are not listening.
(he said knowing something seems off about Ishan.)

Ishu: N-nothing I was thinking about something, anyway what happened why were you calling me?

Dikshit: Look over there.
(he pointed his hand towards the main gate. There was Shubhgarh's royal family entering in.)

Ishan's face light up with joy after watching Shubhgarh's royal family finally reach there. He was patiently waiting for Shubman's family to come near him. That's when he saw Shubman getting out of royal cart.

Ishan thought he was dreaming, he couldn't believe he was watching his Shubie after 3 months. He was really excited to meet him after a long time. Unknowingly a smile formed on his face.

Ishan and Dikshit welcomed Shubman's family and then they went inside. The party was going start at evening so now every one was relaxing a bit after travelling. While Ishan was going downstairs towards the palace garden he was again lost in his thoughts. He was thinking why didn't Shubman said anything to him. Shubman didn't even looked at him properly.

Ishan was thinking in his mind.
Ishu: Why is Shubie ignoring me? Did I do something wrong to piss him off? He didn't even looked at me.

He started pouting, Ishan was so lost in his thoughts that he was about to fall but he felt someone holding him from his waist. He was about to say thanks to the person who saved him from falling down, but when he saw the person who was holding him was Shubman he quickly pushed him away and started walking away.

Shub: Hey Ish what happened? Why did you pushed me?
(he said holding his hand not letting him go.)

Ishu: What happened? Why don't you ask that to yourself?
(he said in a sarcastic way while rolling his eyes.)

Ofcourse Ishan wanted to meet Shubman and he was really excited to do so but he was also mad at Shubman because he didn't send him any letters and he also ignored Ishan when Ishan was welcoming him.

Shub: What did I do- ohhh wait you are mad at me because I didn't wrote you any letter last week.
(he said while finally getting why Ishan is mad at him.)
I can explain baby.
(he said cupping his face.)

Ishu: No need to do so, I know you have lost interest in me and now you are bored of me. (he said with tears in his eyes.) Shubman you don't need to pretend anything-

He was cutted off by Shubman capturing his lips and pulling him in a long kiss. At first Ishan didn't kissed back but after a while he melted in the kiss and stared to kiss back. After a long kiss both of them pulled out of the kiss.

Both of them were breathing heavily. Shubman connected their heads and then he kissed Ishan's forehead.

Shub: You don't know how much I missed you Ishu. And why did thought that I am bored of you and won't love you anymore?
(he said whipping tears from his eyes.)

Ishu: You didn't send me any letters....so I thought you don't love me anymore.
(he said in a low voice and looked the other way.)

Shubman made Ishan look into his eyes and said.

Shub: Ishu I was not sending you letters because I wanted to surprise you by coming here and not informing you about it. And don't you ever try to think that I would stop loving you.
I love you like it's breathing l can't stop it and if I try to do I would die. I love you so much that I cannot describe my love for you in words.

Ishan tightly hugged Shubman and said.

Ishu: I love you too Shubie and I'm sorry to doubt your love for me.

(he apologizes .)

Shub: You don't need to apologize just a kiss will do.

Ishan quickly kisses Shubman's left cheek while blushing.
Shubman whines not getting a kiss on lips.

Shub: I want one on my lips-
(he was cutted off by someone.)

??? : What is happening here?
