I woke up to a rainstorm. It was calm, no hail or lightning. Only heavy rain and thunder. Vox had gotten up already judging by the fact he wasn't in bed. I got up and took a quick shower. After I put on underwear and a silk robe. I stepped out onto the balcony, its awning was up, keeping me dry while I smoke.
   I took a seat and lite my cigarette. Just then my phone buzzed with another notification. Another message from Lucifer.

Took a few times reading it and looking at the keyboard on my phone but I think it says, "angel sent me up to my room so I [could] sleep but I said no haha." I wonder how much he drank. Obviously he's a lightweight and doesn't take shots often. Poor guy.

Angel has always texted like a weirdo. My most recent text I had to scroll for. Mostly because velvet likes to send me dumb videos she sees.

I didn't know I could whip my head around so fast. I thought I broke my neck at first.
"Why are you here, Lucifer?!"
"Well I thought...maybe we could," he motions back and forth between us, "talk this out."
"There's nothing to talk about." I leaned back on my sun chair and kept smoking. The rain was warm, you can just tell.
"Yes there is!" He ran to the side of the lawn chair and got on his knees. He took my hand and looked me in my eyes. "Y/N L/N, I'm in love with you deeply."
"I only remind you of your ex." I pulled my hand away.
"You don't at all! You're completely different." He tried to chase after my hand, stopping when he was sat on the chair.
"Enough Lucifer. I don't want to hear your pleas. I just want you out of my after life."
  "You know that won't happen." He leaned closer, placing his hands by my hips, cornering me in.
  "You're actually revolting. Get your fucking face," I place my hands on his chest, "out of mine!" With a hard shove he is thrown back onto the concrete in front of my chair.
   He is mostly in the rain. He looks shook but quickly collects himself and stands in anger. His cheeks flush a red and he marches over to me. I attempt to scramble, realizing the situation I've gotten myself into.
  "Oh no you don't!" He grabbed my arm and pulled me harshly towards him. I was drug sharp and fast, making me lose my footing. "Come on little lady, what's wrong? Not so quick to yell at me now." He spun me around and let go of me. I hit the railing hard but kept my ground.
  "What the fuck is wrong with you?!" I hold my head and look at him.
  "I think you forget that I am the literal devil. The man who rules hell. I am not fucking nice." He combed his hand through his hair and laughed. We were both drenched in rain which only continued to fall.
  "And I think you forget I am a soul! A human soul! You think demons and imps and hell hounds are all your little itty bitty ponds but we have feelings!"
  "When have I ever said that?!" He continued to advance forward towards me.
  "Oh please, you imply it."
  "I came here to ask for your forgiveness. What about that shows I think lesser of you?"
  "You throwing me against the railing doesn't look like much of an apology."
  "You pushed me first!"
  "Ugh!" I let out a frustrated yell and I start to shout at Lucifer. Every one of his insecurities, every one of his mistakes, everything he has done. He starts to shout back, not in defense but my mistakes and past. He brings up my life on earth making me pause.
  "How did you know about that?" I poked his chest hard. His face froze and he tried to change the subject. "How did you know about my life on earth, Lucifer." He gave a long sigh.
  "When I first saw you I got scared. I messed up big time in trying to talk to you. In fear that I might fuck up every time I talk to you o just looked your soul up."
  "That's how you did so many things that atoned to me? You snooped in my personal life?!" I shoved him again, this time he was prepared and only stumbled.
  "I don't mean for it to seem like that!" He walked closer once more. I went to fire back but I stopped.

  "Lucifer, go."
  "But I-"
  "It's not up for debate you need to leave now!" I shoved him towards the railing. He was hesitant but climbed onto the railing.
  "What's all this about?"
  "Go you need to go! If Vox finds out I brought you here he's gonna kill me!" I keep looking behind me at the door. Lucifer looks at me to protest but ultimately leaves. I sigh in relief.
  "Got your little birdy here, huh star?" Fuck.
